[Denied] Require forum gold to be used for auto-bumping.

Literally the title.

The forum is literally just a bunch of spam in the market section. We’ve got all this forum gold laying around so we might as well start using it for something.

This will spark some life into the non-market sections by requiring members to actually utilize the forum.

Donor status will act as a discount on how much has to be paid for the auto-bumper.

For example something like:

$1000 = 1 SG
$500 = 2SG
$300 = 3SG
$200 and below = 100 SG

If anyone has any better ideas, questions, comments, or concerns feel free to address them below.

 

The only way something like this would work is if sythe had its own auto bumper built into the site which I doubt will ever happen so no support from me.

 

Will be difficult to implement. You currently generate SG by posting/bumping, so by having to use SG to bump/post, it seems pretty counterintuitive.
But yeah, contrary to what @Pikachu said, surely its easy to see who is autobumping as its just the logins from the whitelisted IP? A workaround is having the program run on your own IP but idk who would be bothered to do that just to save a little sythe gold lol

Would need sythe implemented autobumper to work. It's a great idea which was discussed a lot before but i doubt anyone wants to work on that.
