Purchased an account i found on their sythe thread for 306$ on . where they directed me to . to make the purchase. This was on 16th of November, no issues until yesterday I try to login as usual and I see it asks me to provide authenticator which is weird since there was no authenticator on it. I go to login on the runescape website it says incorrect password. Can't reset password or anything since I was told in livechat for the insurance to be valid the email has to be unchanged and therefore stayed as their email, I was only sent login information. Contacted them on their livechat yesterday and they said they would contact the seller, 24h later I was told it was now my responsiblity to recover the account and I was sent minimal recovery information like previous password and no payment information since it was "all bonds" or recovery questions. So no way I will be able to recover the account after already having recieved a denied password reset recovery etc.

@Wortel Hey thanks for getting in contact with the people in charge, I recieved an email offering site credit or replacement account. Its all fine and well however what about the fact that I lost wealth that was on the account due to this recovered account?

Also if i take an account replacement/site credit what stops you guys from recovering the next account again or the "owner" doing so and pocketing the wealth that is on the account each time and then offering another replacement and the cycle continues?

I have screenshots of approximately wealth of the account on the day it was recovered. And since its quite obvious i would be unable to recover the account without previously knowing the recovery info as well as not having the email registered to my own that I would be able to change password as well as put an authenticator on the account. I think some sort of compensation is required for the wealth.

 

@Pirate I have screenshots of last activity on the account then that night or next day it must of been recovered as it was new years eve. I held bigger amounts on the account before and I don't wanna profit from this or anything just recover what I lost to this account recovery. Pirate i will send over the screenshots to you over discord if thats fine ?
