Not really, but it's kind of cool. I guess it might discourage people to buy from people who seem to be selling stolen items, even if they haven't declared that they are. It might keep idiots from trying to sell their ripped merchandise on a Runescape cheating website as well.

I agree 100%, if these people admit to stealing things they should be banned. It is illegal, If I was going to buy something and then later learned that it was stolen then I would want my money back. I don't want to have stolen items in my hand. I know there is some kid in the Real Life Trading forum that admitted to it.

Why don't they just close the section? I mean... if you really do need any items in real life you can get it on various websites such as craiglist or even eBay. I personally don't mind if it's sold on this website, but if you think about it craiglist & ebay should be the same, just with bunch of more people. Thinking that, stolen goods which are sold over the internet seem quite common. It should be a lot more safer than selling it to a person whom is like your neighbor...

Any whom, as a final conclusion... you can keep it up, but that's how the internet will work and always work. The smarter think to do is try convincing to change the laws. Change them into something that works more efficiently, which doesn't attack the innocent people which buy these stolen goods off such online websites. If you think about it personally... where do all these eBay users get so much supplies to start off from... It can't be personal, they're brand new and case sealed, right?

It's called buy in bulk and resell, dumb ass. My mom owns a huge online store with tens of thousands of inventory, NOTHING STOLEN. Don't be so fucking ignorant to claim that every eBay, amazon, half.com seller is a thief!!!

Consider sythe as a classifieds. We do not allow the advertisement of stolen goods, but it is very difficult to know which are stolen.

If anyone can provide evidence that goods being sold by a member are stolen then that member will be banned and his advertisements removed. Other than that, use at own risk.

Sythe perhaps that should be added to the general Sythe.org Rules, if it is not already.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I've been reading through that section and it does look packed with stolen goods. From what I've seen though, the market mods and globals+ have done a decent job of keeping stolen goods out of that section.

But my Xbox 360 or my PS3 haven't been stolen. I'm pretty sure I would want them back, but, it's not my problem. If someone offers me a good price for anything, I'll buy it. I don't care if it's been bought from eBay, bought from a store, or stolen, as long as it works.
