the new ceo fails. hes trying with his "best" shitty effort to make runescape even more nerdier, now before you flame, let me tell you, when cheating and rwt wasnt that big of a deal rs wasnt really nerdy, but now look at this shit. the emote interfaces are beggining to look like there intended for 5 year olds. now all this crap is happening and the shitty ceo is trying to make the game be like a child game in which you have to do everything legitly and shit. its just gonna make a lot less members, tbh, i quit membership 2 months ago and i barely play anymore. maybe ijust get on like once to make sure no one hacked my accs or something or talk to some ppl for like 5 mins but seriously this is shit

 

I don't think they will get rid of Sythe because it has nothing to do with password cracking, phishing, or other bad thing

 

Sythe will be fine. Jagex is probably bluffing in hope that most cheating sites will just take down their site voluntary in fear of being charged with some non-existant offence.

 

Wow that sucks, but like they said it would be hard. Hopefully in the end it would be too hard so Jagex can't do anything about it.

Being serious, Sythe has little potential of being taken down, as Sythe himself isn't doing anything against the law, even promoting RWT etc. is just their terms of service, and cannot be taken to a court case. Lets just hope our hoster won't give in to jagexs bullshit.

 

Everyone says this, but what people don't realize is that they could have found a legal loophole. All they have to do is give a legal reason as to why the gold and accounts are their sole property and why it is illegal to trade them. Of course, it would only work in certain nations probably. And I am not sure if Sythe would be taken down for it either way..

 

It cannot be their sole property seeing as i pay a membership fee for that account and only I get to enjoy it. They cannot say that it belongs to them, it'd be one of the dumbest things ever, and then instead of using the word account people would use the word Time. As in they're selling the time put into the account.

Along with other lines stating that the gold and your accounts are the sole property of Jagex. This is all made legal by the following line in their Terms of Use:
