So I paid for 53 thieving to be completed by them, I've always used @Fyndel Services, They are a good community and great place to get skills done that you have no time for. I have used them several times without any issues except for this issue I am presenting. I had a new worker be given the assignment that I have never seen before, I paid the 8.7m and Sent the details to the worker. Couple hours later I asked for an update. About an hour later I was informed with the update, about 3 hours after that I asked for another update, Gave me no pictures for the update "just said this is slow and underpaid ticket Im 5 levels away" I was thinking to myself the responses are very long waiting, and no picture on update? This user has to be botting and I had the biggest biggest biggest gut feeling it was being botted. After about 6 more hours I finally got the update it was done from asking again to be supplied with an update, "Done".

I do not use bots of any kind, If I chose to bot why would I sit in The discord and supply them tons of business that I have done with them. I believe This worker just was a bad hire, I haven't had any issues with any others in the past. I am very unhappy right now because I had huge plans for this account, and now its been black marked. I do feel if the sythe mods rule in my favor that I am owed something out of this situation because now the account loses value due to the ban.

Hey superfluous we had conpleted his service as we have many times 3 days after finishing he said a 2 day ban appeared our workers do everything hands done and worker has never had any issues previously we tried resolving this best we could via ticket after completion but to no avail which is why he decided to open claim our terms of service are displayed openly and ticket says by opening agree to terms of service where we are not responsible for any bans infractions we stand behind our worker in the case of they where not at fault on this @Superfluous

 

Your hired worker failed on communication and updates with proof of pictures, with leaving that said, your Tos is not valid in this situation.

@Superfluous has the updated evidence showing the account wasn't botted in my hands it was botted in the worker you assigned.

@skilling scott for a legit business like you guys you seem to be beating around the bush a lot. I would NOT be making such a long and detailed post if my evidence wasn't true.

I am now going to come out with my compensation amount. If the case is ruled in my favor I request the amount of 100m 07 Gold.

 

We will let super resolve this as I have tried reasoning many times we will wait to here what they have to say

 

You have tried reasoning? You have done nothing but deny this offense, you are treating me(customer) very poorly. An issue is stated and your pretty much saying that I am screwed. That's not reasoning mate.
I am the one being reasonable here, 100m as I stated in the previous reply, $45 worth of 07 gold which honestly is not much but its compensation for everything that is detailed on the thread. Yes we will let mods take over because there is no point of going back and fourth honestly since you clearly stated your not at fault.

 

How do you send someone proof that they didn’t bot? You supposedly provided the mod proof that you didn’t, so what kind of proof do I need?

Also, the part where you said because our worker’s name had the word (bot) in her name (Vanbottini) that you suspect her to be botting. Really dude?

I’m sorry the worker couldn’t respond to your requests the same hour. Our workers are human who needs sleep, goes out and sometimes take breaks. Keep in mind if she was botting why would it take longer?

 

I think Scotty has done more than enough explaining our side on my behalf and will also wait for a mod’s response.

 

The same hour? its several hours before only one response out of 3 update requests. And the only update I was given was no pictures just "im 5 levels away"
And I tried logging in the account several times because of no response of updates and the account was logged in.

 

@Fyndel "By opening = you agree" is not a valid ToS-approval system. We're posting a sticky about this soon but you need to get customers to approve your ToS in writing ("hey did you read our ToS?" / "yes, I agree")

Back on topic - Like @Fyndel said, there's no proof they botted on @OSRS City's account and no lasting impact from that botting (temp ban ≠ perm ban); if you had been perm banned I would hold them liable because their ToS are unsatisfactory right now. In terms of compensation, if they would like to compensate you to help resolve this situation that would be nice but not required. Sorry that this isn't the result you're likely after, but it is what seems fairest here.

 

It sounds like the botting ban has been quashed and @Fyndel has reached out to @OSRS City to offer a refund for this order for the trouble caused. Thanks for resolving things guys.
