    ScionBot Review.

    Hello :)

Today, I am testing ScionBot, the new Runescape Macroing Bot made by Jaco.

First, I downloaded the bot at Scionbot.com.
It was a small file, and downloading was really fast :)

I open my map on my Desktop, and it was easy to find out how to get it to work.

You first go to Bin >Double Click Scion.exe.

When I opened the bot, I first got a message that I had to put a account in the Account Manager to start a bot.

I putted my account in the Manager and started the first bot :)

The loading was something slow, but , overall it was fast with starting up.
It started up faster as Rsbot, cause no need to compile etc.

At this moment, there are only 5 scripts, so I just tried the login script :)
The script worked well, just like the whole bot.

The bot is cappable of running more bots than 1 at a time :)

Included with ScionBot, are some handy tools:

    Development Tool
A nice development tool to help scripters

Like you can see, it shows colours, coords etc :)

    Arranging your bots

A tool to arrange your bots etc.

Overall is ScionBot really fast, it has a smooth design and good tools, it can rune multiple bots with only 1 ScionBot program open.
This bot is better then Rsbot in my eyes, and it will become better, because I used a beta of ScionBot!

    Rate: 8/10 !

    Please comment.

    FAQ:

Q: Can Scion Bot support multiple bots?
A: Yes. Scion can run multiple bots on the same process.

    Q: Is Scion Bot free?
    A: Yes, and open-source!

Q: Is creating scripts for Scion easy?
A: Scripting for Scion is much easier than a java bot. Your given the flexibility to make Scion work for you by choosing the language that best fits your needs and programming skill level. Scion supports ANY .net language. If you know vb.net, c#, or c++ than your ready to script Scion. But don't worry, these languages are by far some of the most widely used and easiest to learn. There is tons of material and resources to learn programming in these languages.

Q: Is Scion updated? Does the bot actually get updates, or do the java fields just get updated like RSBot?
A: Jaco is constantly making changes to Scion, adding and removing things. There is usually some immense changes with each version, so you can rest assured that the bot is updated as well as the java fields. Jaco and the Scion Bot development team work hard to make changes and updates as much as possible to keep the bot undetected. This also means using methods which aren't detected. Scion doesn't use BCEL or client hacking which can be detected.

Even if it can, TOR would be more reliable.

What type scripting does this use? like.. Scar-like syntax? Or java-like? etc

It is a great bot, I have been involved with scion for the past couple of months. It is a great bot, and those of you who say that he is a dumb ass because he only tested the login script, You have no idea how good this bot really is. I have used this bot sinces its first beta realease, and it is really good. Please refer to http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=593969 for more information.

Actually the bot comes with the binary and the source. Also I wouldn't ever 'rely' on RSBot. The bot itself has not been updated in long long time, and the only updates it does get are the vars which still doesn't make much of a difference. BCEL bots are highly detected, and the ban rate is astronomical. Scion doesn't hack the client and is a much better bot with many more features and functions.

Seems decent especially seeing as you can use c++ which is pretty much standard lately, might try it when a few more scripts come out. Does it have any anti-randoms or anti-bans?
