Hint: Make your own. It isn't hard - All you're doing is either moving the Java applet, or resizing the web browser around the Java applet.

Everyone is new to programming at some point or another. If everyone used that as an excuse there wouldn't be very many proficient programmers around at all. Try disecting previous versions of the StealRS and locating possible reasons as to why they no longer work. From there you may be able to solve each one of those problems and you are on your way to making a new one.

First: If you're new, I suggest learning Visual Basic .Net as it is newer technology. Visual Basic 6 is deprecated and has been for a long time.

Second: Read a book or something on programming if you're completely new - you can't just say "I want to program" and instantly be able to make good software. It takes years to become proficient at a language.

You shouldn't be "making" a client then. You'll mostly be copying/pasting/modifying existing code and will get into the bad habit of not being able to write more complex programs from scratch. As Swan said pick up a good book (or e-book) and learn through reading and/or examples depending on your preferred style of learning.
