Explanation of the trade:Bought a fishing acc for 10m 2 days Ago contacted him Via Pms/Discord
How they scammed: he claimed it was registered to his email etc. When i asked for the og email of the acc he said it was unregistered until i tried to check via gmail. it was registered and he doesn't own it Which he didn't state and doesn't provide any security to the acc

I didn't lie to him. That account had my email verified on it. And the login email.. He didn't ask a single word about it until the next day after buying the account. I just used my name and account creation year to make it. I didn't check if it was actually available to create on Gmail website because that is not important at all. Noone can scam the account using just the login email. And there is actually 1/1m chance that the email owner plays runescape at all.

Also, the reason why I didn't refund him in the first place was his reasoning. I am the only one that knows this acc's recovery details. Previous verified emails, pw's, ISP, location of creation and the date created. The acc is more then safe and that why I didn't refund him.

Adding something, im not planning to risk that 1/1m chance for the owner to play runescape, idk any of the security things ISP etc so just refund.. i know just the email

 

You're not supposed to know. Those security details go for most of my acc's and Im not gonna risk sharing them. If in the future you need help with account recovery for unknown reason, I will help you recover, but I'm not sharing those details.

I've bought and sold many acc's with throwaway emails and not a single time I was asked to give a refund because a buyer can't have access to login email. If for example I buy account with an email [email protected] and say to the seller: Ow, I can't get access to this email because its already created.. Am I also liable for a refund? Even though the seller said it's a throwaway email and he randomly created it just to login to game?

 

*throwaway emails*= Temp Emails iirc, email u registered this osrs acc is Gmail.. and its created by someone ydk.

u didn't provide this info while i was buying, and i don't have to ask about this information. Selling an account means u have full ownership of the account or u bought it from a trusted user on Sythe.
Thats what i know wa i think thats right.

i want a refund i didn't know any of this information while buying.

That's not a valid reason for a refund. 90% off acc's created on RS got throwaway login emails, because they are basically useless.
