Do you use a VPN? If so why?

I use one because I play RS from time to time and don't want my IP being associated with any other accs I've been on through Sythe

I dont use VPN, i dont need to.

 

Only reason I use and pay for a premium VPN to play multiple accounts on neopets.

Yes, to bypass my provider throttling my data & network speeds.

Also anytime I'm on a public network, it's to protect my information. People think a man in the middle attack is way more complicated than it actually is...any script kiddy can log everything you do on that McDonald's or Starbucks wifi with about 5 minutes of googling...

 

i use a vpn on a daily basis duo to everything being blocked out here discord etc so i constantly have to have it on

 

VPN is extremely important for safety among other benefits.

 

Nope don't see the benfit using a home IP

 

I use it for mainly blocking my ISP from using certain websites, Before i used to watch a few tv shows ect then all of a sudden they decided to start blocking certain sites, i use it predominantly for that.

I also have a vps setup for all of my gold mules , i personally dont play runescape on a VPN and wouldnt unless requested by a customer, surprisingly they can lower ping for certain activities however but i have a decent home based connection

 

use mullvad. its factually the best HIGHLY rec using vpn.

 

Yes just for streaming movies, It's smart to use one and it doesn't hurt to not have one. It adds extra layer of security

 

Yes always, I have an ip whitelist that only allows me to connect to my vpn provider too. surveillance is bad

meh, I've never had to use one. Not really worried.

 

This one is pretty good since you just get a randomized number instead of an email. I use both Mullvad and NordVPN.

 

Been using Private Internet Access (PIA) for years. Even with PIA active, my ping to any USEast/Central server tops at ~80ms, which is plenty fast to game/stream video on, so I typically leave it on 24/7.
