His rap is fluid and his voice is unique

 

I have not heard him say he was a gang in his lyrics yet. I've heard him make references, but not say he was in one.

And if his lyrics are bad but they sound koo, i don't care. And his beats are usually really good.

 

I don't listen to rap, but Lil Wayne is one of the best rappers, in my opinion..

LIL wayne is a bit overated lyric wise he is not really their as other artist out their are but he knows how to entertain a crowd or his audience


He can say "i would suck you dry and make you nut over my face "and say no homo and that is the best line of the year and that wont be gay.

funny thing about it is he really dosen't write his songs and people call him a great poet lol, i do have proof and go to youtube and search "lil wayne bites" whcih he actual stole whole verses and tried to use it as his own.

No, because they have earned the respect of most of the rappers out there. Without the above mentioned, rap would've died with soul. You compare any of Lil Waynes songs to Eazy-E's Real Muthaphukkin G's? OR Tupac's Hit em up? Didn't think so.

Lil Wayne has too much of you youths Boosting him but lack too realize that none of his lyrics are even written by himself. You can't be seen as the greatest rapper when your lyrics aren't even from your heart. Lil Waynes old stuff was alright when he was rapping with his dad (Birdman).

When I list listen too rap I like too understand the Lyrics and think twice about them with a good background flow of music. This music just annoys the fucking hell out of me and is an embarrassment too all old school rappers.

Lyrically little wayne is horrible in his current state. When he first started he was only sub par, and there is speculation that he didn't write his own lyrics. It's really unfortunate the kind of hiphop and rap these people get exposed to now. Maybe rap wouldn't have such a bad reputation if more of these kids who get NO exposure would be put on major labels. They are the true artist, the real rappers.

But even the underground scene is really saturated at this point............You really have to search hard for new talent
