Where can a 14 Year-Old get a job?

I'm a 14 Year-Old Male and I'm serious about looking for a job in the summer.
I'm looking to make some extra money to put in my bank account. I live in Quebec in Canada.

 

i say mcdonalds or if not u can moan grass, there are many grass moan companies in the summer and u can make a decent amount of cash if not then work with ur parents if there job allows.

 

Dunkin Donuts, Burger King, McDonalds..ect. I work at Walmart you're guarantee to have a safe job there in the recession. It rules.

Apply anywhere that supports child labor and you're set.

 

Blupig, I know I'm only 14 but I mean somewhere like apple orchard or some bs like that.

 

Might want to look into getting a working permit, I got one at 14 but couldn't find a job that would hire me. Parents business or if they have a friend that you can work for under the table.

 

Lawn care would be best. Fast food otherwise.

 

if you live in california specifically Los angeles... go to sixflags.com and they are hiring like 500-2k teens for the summer

 

How about helping us, by stateing what state you live in?
In my county in Florida, we can not begin work untill we are 15.

I don't know of any places that hire 14 year olds, but you could wait till your 15 and maybe there'll be something open like a camp job or something.

 

Any business will choose a 16-18 yr old over a 14 year old anyday, therefore i suggest sticking to the small stuff. Lawn care, YMCA work, Day Care centers. Things that will fill up fast are Pool jobs or resturante jobs. Go for the day care, its easy and all you have to do is chill with kids all day. Which is a good thing if you like kids.

 

Apply at pubs/bars for a dishwasher position, its a shitty job but it was my first job which I got at 14

 

I had a job at a movie theatre at 14.

I worked at concession, it was pretty easy and I got payed around $10/hr since we got slight commision for upsales (large drinks on combos and such).

Try for that maybe?

 

Work at a department store such as walmart, or zellers.

 

Paper round?

Take a bike, fast, nice and easy

 

I can't think of any jobs that hire under 16. In my area, you have to be at least 16, and most of the places require you to be 18, such as Blockbuster.

I was 15, and I couldn't find 1 job, though it may be different in your area.

 

i know that some hardware stores accept young workers.

go to a local cafe if you have one ask if they need help sweeping thats what i did for a while

 

Paper boy, lawnmower, snow shoveler etc.
