    How Chinese multiply
    You count the intersections. It's based on the principle of rectangles. If I have a rectangle with a width of 2 and a length of 3 then I have 6 square units inside my rectangle. If I have a larger multiplication to do I can just make a whole bunch of rectangles (a set for each power of ten) and add their area's together.

    Haha I clicked this hoping to see how these chinese people reproduce so much, but I got this :p. Its a neat way how to multiply but doing it in my head seems much easier.
