Feedback on my Feedback Thread Part 2

Well, my first feedback thread was locked otherwise I wouldn't be posting this one as a response to it. It was locked because the mods thought I was ban evading but as I have proved in the past; I am not ban evading. The post related to that was deleted on that thread too. Thanks.

Is this a valid reason to remove a post?

Let's start with what started this issue to begin with. I decided to come to Sythe to spend money on Riot points in an attempt to give money to a community that I used to be a part of.

I begin to add the League of Legends riot point sellers on Discord and I come across Gladiator. Seeing that he has a thread with 1k+ replies and that he is very active in the community I decide to contact him. I contacted him after reading his thread requirements to use pay-pal as a payment method for trading.

The specific requirement that I meet can be found here: ***(PayPal: trusted & old Sythe members with 50+ vouches minimum. Otherwise you must follow my PayPal terms below)***

-Does this clearly state that I should not have to screen share given the reputation that I have built on my account otherwise what is the point of this terms of service? (Pay-pal is the entire reason I contacted him to begin with because I did not feel like exchanging out BTC when I don't have any in my accounts.)

I would never screen share my pay-pal account with anyone on Sythe and I don't have the slightest idea why that is sketchy. In the past, screen sharing is what hackers would use to steal your money so why would I trust that now?

After that, I decided to post in his thread that he blocked me on discord because I did not want to screen share with him. He deleted my post.

How about we talk about deleting the posts that slander my name on the forums while we are on the topic of deletion? Is that possible or can only Global Moderators do that?

Isn't that overreach?
If someone was to post an opinion of how our deal went in one of my sales threads then can it be deleted?
Am I not allowed to say "The user removed me from Discord because I did not want to screen share my PayPal account even though I meet his specific requirements on his thread."

( I think I used the word blocked but since the post is deleted I can't remember exactly what I said)

After he removes my post, I pm him and ask him if I am not allowed to post my opinion. He replies with

"We didn't conduct any transaction, you're acting awfully immature simply because I didn't want to accept Paypal from you?

Stop being spiteful and move on"

Then he goes on a hunt to try and figure out anything I have done wrong to ban me. Banning me for something that has already been dealt with and wasting resources and time of other members on this forum. Which is funny because he is the one being spiteful and not moving on at this point.

When he should have acted professionally, He acted with emotion.

I have been part of this forum for over 12 years. I have an account that dates back to 2007. This is the first time I have ever had an issue personally with a global moderator. I can't even remember why Megamatt was mad at me so I never really had a problem with him lol.

He definitely does not like me and reminds me of Megamatt. Megamatt was also an admin who tried to get me banned a long time ago. Funny thing is there was no evidence or proof so my ban was lifted and then Megamatt got banned for scamming / 3rd party malicious dealings.

So, I have dealt with global mods harassing me before and it just gets old to see it still happening. This is why I don't spend time on these forums because some global moderators feel like they own the forum. I guarantee you that he is still searching for a reason to get me banned considering he spends his life on these forums. I actually expect him to even fabricate evidence to get me banned. I've seen this happen before too.

It has happened on Sythe before. I have seen coups of people try to destroy Sythe. Global moderators working together to scam, etc. It all has happened before and the fact that a Global Moderator is this desperate to attack an old member is pathetic. All because I didn't want to screen share my pay-pal.

Yes, I am upset. That is all.

 

When it comes to the IP audit function. In my opinion, it is useless. If you IP audit me, it is repeated IP addresses. When your IP auditing a member like "Gladiator" then you'll see that it is polluted. Why is it so polluted but mine is so straight forward?

 

No one is harassing you, and you were banned for under two hours before we fixed things.

Sorry I didn't look back five years for a dispute you made to clear up your suspicious home IP matches; 99% of the time there is no thread like this to find so we don't bother checking and can sort things out in a dispute like we did here if things go south. And re: @Gladiator, if you are unhappy with a user because of their terms I recommend finding other people to trade with instead.

To be fair, your account activity looked suspicious af. Multiple people reported you as a suspected hacked account, and I was actually looking into you myself after a user tipped me off via DM when Gladiator made his post. If he hadn't made that thread, I would have made a similar one instead, and you would have been DNT'd, albeit briefly, either way.

One of our responsibilities as staff is to try to keep Sythe users reasonably safe. If this involves DNTing a long-time user for a couple hours I think that's a reasonable tradeoff to make. Accounts coming back after periods of inactivity like yours are very often hacked. But still, sorry I didn't look into the specifics of your disputes (though I did look at your failed pardons, which did not explain the IP matches). Hopefully we can all put this behind us and move on.

 

I feel as if this was not your mistake and you should not be apologizing. Fair enough but I did meet this users terms. That is all I am trying to say. I have 2FA enabled for a reason.

How could someone hack a 2FA account? Please explain.

My IP has mostly always been in South Carolina so if you would Location track the IP that would be obvious it is still me.

Also, Can we still discuss the removal of my post just because he did not like it?

I've also updated my thread with the following: Paypal: I have the right to refuse anyone. Never did I imagine I'd have to add something so obvious, but if it helps avoid dealing with people like you again, I will gladly.

No, I removed you because you weren't happy to screenshare, I never blocked you. Your statement is a lie, hence why it was removed. At this point, you move on and find someone else to trade.

I never said you didn't have the right to refuse anyone. What I did fit were the specific requirements that you spelled out very clearly on your thread. I would have not contacted you otherwise.

Please explain to me how screen sharing my pay-pal makes the pay-pal transaction more secure so I know why I should request this type of thing in the future.

I can donate directly to Sythe and not have to screen share using Pay-Pal.

Also explain how my account could have been hacked with 2FA enabled? Someone steal my phone 3 years ago and found out they can scam people on Sythe marketplace?
