Deleting Post

I cannot delete a post I made on a thread in 2018 - there is no option to delete or discard in the 'edit' tool. How can I go about deleting a post?

 

You've registered this account last sunday, sadly you can not remove other people's posts.

 

The post in question is actually from another account which was around in 2018. I am posting anonymously, and this issue was encountered on the account which made the post.

 

The 'delete' option over a post cannot be seen in the thread I posted in (on another account, signed in to that account). I don't know if it's because I did not create the thread, or it is archived or something, but can moderators assist with this?

 

Regarding the right to vanish

 

I am aware of sythe.org's stance and that nobody is obligated to help me. In the thread it states, "you are free to delete or edit as many of your own posts as you like" which seems to imply that people should be able to delete their posts and why I think there is some kind of mechanical issue. If anybody would like to help me please let me know.

 

You can't edit a thread or post when it's closed.

 

Nothing necessarily wrong with it, would just prefer if it didn't exist because it is associated with my identity

Could you direct me to where I can change my username? From what I can tell there are minor and major name changes, but I cannot access any form to try either. Are there requirements for minor name changes? What is the difference?

So if I want to actually change my username I have to pay 200 dollars? It seems like a very simple thing to do that would not take so much resources. Are banned users' posts still visible?

Hey man, just so you know, people can IP audit you and find out your other username which only has 1 post, so it makes it obvious what you're talking about. (Hence how Blackblasses knew). By posting this publicly you just dragged more attention to it lol. However I dont see any problem with it either so just dont be too paranoid fam you're good
