Sale Advice

Hey guys.

Lately I have lost interest in OSRS and figured I'd sell some gp. As I live in a place with limited payment options, I have very few ways to receive money. So I contacted a well-known seller, specified my payment medium and he informed me I'd have to do at least 1b sale for him to use that payment method. I'd ideally want to get rid of 1.5b. Please note, this would be my first time selling gp (have never purchased gp either on any games)

I want to know the following:

1) How should I go about such a trade? I have read about various ways to safeguard my main by using high level mules and hiding real IP. I do have decent combat mule I can use, however it has not had membership on it for a long time.

Unable to pay for a vpn at this time and don't want to use a free vpn. So what are my options? I am particularly worried about a chain ban on all my accounts as I still play the game actively and can't be bothered starting from scratch again.

2) What difference does staking make instead of a direct trade? I am no staker, so I have like no wins/losses. Would staking be safer?

Stake trading off of your main would probably be the safest option btw.

 

First, I would verify you’re talking to the real person. Check the stickies to verify how to be safe on discord. If you’re using a site, just check the reviews of the site.

Staking the gold is probably your safest option as it will appear as a stake. Nevertheless, there is always risk in getting banned when acting out RWT.

Thank you for the advice. I am only able to use WU/Payoneer. Not very convenient but I live in a backdated shithole.

I forgot to ask my 3rd question, which I shall add here.

I read that small increment trading is the best for minimizing risk of ban, that right? I should also add that as I have been someone into altscape, I did split my wealth among my accounts, so I am able to stake/trade on my alts (which all have decent total and combat levels) without needing to transfer gp from my main.

For now I am good. I am still looking into available payment options here as I am not comfortable with the idea of bulk sales. Almost every buyer I have contacted have set a minimum transaction limit for WU which is not viable for me atm.

 

you could try making a bitcoin wallet and have him send you the money there and once you wanna cash out you could try coinbase if its supported in your region , or sell at localbitcoin WU method way way old nowdays and make sure your talking to the legit seller and confirm via discord id and forums , you could just try go and put the money from ur mule in his tip jar i wouldent recommend you trying to vpn ur way it can backfire at you if your new to rwting.
