Money-making osrs alts?

I haven;t been playing osrs for a couple of months now. I have been busy working on my rs3 main and ironman account. I have an osrs main with 70 base melee stats and 77 prayer and some other random stats.

What I do not know what to do is what sort of alts can make some good gold on the side. Considering that osrs gold is worth so much more than rs3 I think it makes more since to grind for gold and swap it over. What sort of alts would be easy enough to train/buy and then make a decent amount per hour from(500k-1m+)?

I do have a random osrs account I bought super cheap which is level 92(or 97 i cannot remember.) Would this account have access to anything using the cooking skill to make some good afk gold?

 

I don’t know about the cooking skill as asked. However, I do know chinning is still big for money making. When I ran bots this is what I did.

In terms of cooking, you can cook raw karambwans and make a bit of gp per hour depending on your cooking level/if you have cooking gauntlets and 100% Hosidius favour for the Hosidius range.

It wouldn't be much (few hundred k per hour) but its very AFK which is nice.

You'll only make money if you dont burn the karams much (assuming you have 90+ cooking which is why you asked)

Otherwise, rune drags are the way to go I'd say for constant/really good money per hour.

 

Are these accounts frequently sold on the markets? I am not sure I want to build an account myself, and unless my main can do those things I definetly will want to purchase an account.

 

I would say get the stats up and make a rune dragon alt. Those seem to be a decent money maker. I'm building one up now myself but got a little ways to go.
