Which drugs are ok, and which are bad?

All of these drugs are bad, but i think if someone smokes weed from time to time isn't anything wrong.
I prefer Alcohol, maybe because its cheaper than drugs, but in my opinion its even worse than marijuana or all kind of that, maybe because you can hurt someone with it, and with drugs you can't. I mean, it has less chance to do that.

 

yuck, i dont do drugs, most of them are bad for your health, and they can also make you hurt those around you.

overall, although illegal, Marijuana, if used moderately, is quite harmless

on the ocntrary, alchohol, even though it's legal (making it socially acceptable) can cause quite dangerous consequences to those around you if you dont take it moderately.


overall, what i think, is that some drugs, like alcohol and Marijuana are OK, if you arent an idiot and you take them moderately

 

No drugs are good or bad. They're fucking chemicals. Statistically speaking, alcohol is probably the most harmful thing you can put in your body (after inhalants). Methamp, coke and opiates are pretty bad as far as psychological and physical addictions go, but at least they don't literally DESTROY your body like alcohol. Alcohol is also the worst drug in terms of hurting people. MAYBE pcp wins out, MAYBE, but alcohol is much more common than that.


I don't recommend using things other than psychedelics (in a proper setting while meditating, etc) and cannabis, but hey, we all experiment yeah? Like I said, there's nothing wrong with any drug. Fun fact: 32% of people who smoke one or more cigarettes in their life eventually get addicted versus 23% for heroin. Don't but into bullshit propaganda. If you want to do something once and only once, you will. It's not like you lose control of your body...

As long as you are not effecting anyone (physically harming), then I don't see why they should be labeled as bad. Of course there would be abuse, but then there would be consequences.

You should know that certain people (including me) need to take prescription drugs to stay alive, right?

I need to take beta-blocker drugs to keep my blood pressure low, otherwise my aorta can rupture given a large amount of pressure. Drugs such as this are life-saving, damned be the person who illegalizes them (which I doubt will happen).

As for illicit drugs, tobacco and so on, I really don't think they have any point - they take more lives than they save. Alcoholic drinks such as Wine is fine though, considering in moderation they are good for your cardiac (note: NOT ALL alcoholic drinks).

 

All the drugs you listed can harm your body and are addictive. And, of course they can all get you jail time.

 

I've done coke once- i took about 3 grams of it myself, and guess what.. no addiction.

Coke is supposedly a "do it once get hooked" drug.

3 gram's isn't small.. Not large, but not small.

 

Meth has 92% addiction rate first time. Coke is one you try once then the second or third time you're hooked.

 

drugs arnt bad. whats bad is how people abuse them having a beer now and a gain smoking a few joints mayb a hit of acid here or there hell mayb smoke some smack as long as you dont get addicted theres no problem

 

id beg do differ ive done coke before random times at party's mostly to sober up ive done it mayb 10-15 times, im not addicted hell get facts not from the net they just try to scare you, drugs are not as addictive as they try to make them, like herion isnt addictive the first while you use it because its a opiate, you could probly do for a bit before your body begins to start depending on the opiate.

 

Well all though you only posted barely any of the drugs in the world that are consumed daily and most of these questions are going to be answered with opinions anyways here are my thoughts.
Marijuana-nothing much to say here except its a plant thats abused like a drug but is really just a plant, not really addictive just fun to have and puts you in good moods also good for some health problems.
Alcohol-yes it can get mentally addictive but i was never into drinking alot just once in a while on certain occasions.
Tobacco-no high really but they can get addicting i suppose if you have nothing else to smoke. personally myself however i usually save my cigs for when i am on drugs because they tend to give a better effect, lots of times when i am sober they will be boring.
Pills (Over The Counter/Prescribed)Pills from all types shapes sizes they can get physically addicting especially if they are prescribed straight to you but usually they arent in which case you have to buy them for street price which in the end makes me at least not want to buy alot of them. the high's are alright but compared to other drugs pills are just a little dab of taste in the drug world.
Ecstasy-ectasy bye its self is a pure chemical substance ectasy pills however are always cut with other substances when i have tried it my pills were always meth based but combined with the MDMA and other substances had a good feeling to it.The only way this drug can be addicting is main substance in it such as speed etc. ectasy also has easy tolerance so i dont really think you can get addicted..
Cold Medicines (Delsum)TBH. Robo>Delsum.. delsum has to many other actives and cold medicines arent the drug its dextromethorphan[dxm]From my experiences with DXM the trips are fun and nice length also dont think this goes under the addicting category although it can get out of hand if you dont watch out..but once you have enough you let your liver rest eventually until your ready for more.
Also for whoever said meth has a 92% addiction rate or whatever you cant get addicted to drugs unless you have a steady income source, and to taste the real addiction you need $100'

Marijuana, you can't die from it, but it shouldn't be used. I don't think it should be punished like it is.

Alcohol, It's fine in moderation, or if you only drink ever once an a while, but if your an alcoholic then no it's not alright. But if your like me underage, want to have a good time, have some girls around, drinking can defendant break the ice.

Tobacco, same with this too. I think smoking is fine as long it's not near me. I some times smoke cigars, but I don't suggest smoking

Pills (Over The Counter/Prescribed)to feel good? you can overdose on these things, who wants to go to the ER because the took 40 Ibuprofen, but when I do my major training or marathons or any long race, i'll take about 10 Ibuprofen, so I won't feel the wall.

Ecstasy, never did it, major sex drug tho, don't pick up girls that do it.

Drugs are bad in all ways, also from a moral point of view. But who is a parent/teacher to regulate all of a persons actions? moral authority is a thing from the 50's this is now.

 

Drugs I can think of at this point and time and what I think of it:

Marijuana - Perfectly fine as long as you don't let it run your life. Use in moderation and you can't overdose on it.
Alcohol - Same as Weed. As long as it is used in moderation it's fine. And if you get drunk, DONT DRIVE.
Tobacco - NO. Smells bad, tastes bad, and kills more people then alcohol. And if it is smoked in a cigarette you're getting nicotine which is the most addicting drug known.
Methamphetamines (Meth) - No, one of the most addicting drugs and will definitely kill you in the end if you don't stop.
Amphetamines (Cocaine) - No, bad for you and will kill you.
Ecstacy - I haven't read up much on this drug but what I've heard is it burns holes in your brain, which sounds pretty bad.
LSD - If you're prepared for the powerful hallucinations then go for it. I wouldn't use it more then once a month.
'Shrooms - Same as LSD
Caffeine - Well everyone drinks soda or coffee every once in awhile
Adderall - If you need it then it's fine. If not then don't overdo it.
Ritalin - Same as Adderall.
Heroin - NO. 2nd most addicting drug right after Nicotine. Very very dangerous.
DXM - These are fine just don't overdose or anything
Salvia - Perfectly fine as long as you know what you're getting in to. Not addictive just very powerful hallucinations for about 15 minutes. Try this before shrooms or LSD as it's a shorter trip

But anyways, people can do whatever drugs they want, it's their choices. I personally drink occasionally, smoke pot daily, and that's basically it. I'm trying LSD when I get older and Salvia as soon as I can get it. But it's illegal in Virginia >:O
