I'm just the messenger, but I feel like enough is enough. This is the moment to post this. I'm quite sure cracking, the sale of hacked accounts, or having third parties commit any of these things is not allowed. Not only, because this act in itself is a criminal act or a derivative of a criminal act in essentially every legal system in the world (national, supranational, and treaty-based) but this is also forbidden 'unfair commercial practice' in essentially all markets and poses a danger to unaware buyers, our dear market itself and brings the entire community in a very bad light. Bellow, I present to you, one of the perpetrators. Do we -as a community- want to be associated with this?

I am not selling or advertise any of that on sythe. I am just reselling in my own discord and that has nothing to do with sythe. I let the buyers know im not the original owner.

 

Well yeah, I figured you'd respond that. In essence, your claim is that you're in some sort of grey area when it comes down to following the Sythe rules, because you are performing blackhat activities, just not promoting them on Sythe. My point is; what is the difference? You are still cloaked by Sythe's reputation and associated with the website.

The second point I'd like to make is an analogy that relates to the vote on disallowing OSRS luring videos on the forums (see bellow for link), something less fraudulent by any legal (criminal) standards than your blackhat activities. It was quite visible that for the luring videos there was already a very strong common interest by the community to have those activities banned.

As ive said in my thread and as it shows in ur own screenshot, I am reselling. I am not performing the activity itself. I used to buy from a guy that performs it and sell for a bigger price.

 

Dear Moderators, I have been active in this community for eleven years. I have always enjoyed this place. Unfortunately, we know that Sythe has always attracted scammers, luckily anyone who loved and loves this place and the free market of ideas, services and goods has always tried to protect the integrity of this it. However, this conduct is just on another level in the sense that it is pure criminal conduct and provocation of criminal conduct. It is illegal and forbidden by law. Is this what this community should become, should be and should tolerate? I for one, do not want to tolerate this.

To strength my first point, I'd like to add that in my OP you can see that Not A Bot is actively recruiting other people for these criminal activities. His claim that Discord and Sythe are two separate things also does not apply here and is not a valid argument. It is a fact that the product that he is selling is accessible in both market-areas. Because of the nature of these two markets and the product that he is selling, the probability that these two blend is too big.

 

It's very easy to claim that you're not the one cracking, but this is not a valid excuse. The fact is that you are selling these accounts. Therefore, the burden of proof shifts to you. In other words, you should -at the very least- be able to show that you are not cracking. Simply saying that you're not cracking is not enough.

An analogy is that of a murderer. A murderer who is spotted with a knife in his hands and gazing over a body that has knife wounds is not freed of his charges by claiming that he did not do the stabbing.

Is it unsavory? Yes. But it is also not an offense if it is happening offsite.
