Explanation of the trade:

(Just for note, I would happily pay a refund fee if it was mentioned on there website/sythe thread that there was a maximum trade limit)

I was looking on sythe to buy around 300m 07GP, I have bought/sold billions in the past via many buyers and sellers but always shop around for best price!

I read the whole sythe thread and also the whole website and FAQ's.

I waiting for my transaction to be confirmed and then the LiveChat agent said that they were refunding me the money as I had not traded with them before and 300M 07 was too much for a first timer? however the refund was -13$ USD!! They then claimed that they mention this "maximum limit" on there website and provided me with a screen shot of a word document stating that... not sure what use that is! they claimed this message was sent in the live chat, and that's just untrue as you can see from when I scrolled up on my chat box, I also open the website on another computer and didn't receive that message pop up either!





Amount scammed: 13$ USD

How they scammed:

They had NO mention of this hidden Maximum Trading Limit, and refunded me my transaction - 18 USD without even asking my consent I would happily of let them hold the money for a month and then give me the gold or any other option to avoid this "hidden 13$ USD fee" I think this is TERRIBLE trading practices and I am a rather larger buyer of 07GP so this has left a rather sour taste in are mouth of there business!

I'm going to close this as a $13 refund has been issued (original order was $217, refund was $205, this should close the gap after rounding). This is mostly to protect their image.

@Lord Eridor, the ToS you agreed to have a specific clause about this:



It seems this is in response to a change in PayPal's refund policy, not the business trying to screw you out of your refund. You're fortunate that they've decided to refund you in this case.
