Party Hats

Does anyone know why there is such a fall in party hat prices !!

 

I know why. Jagex is slowly lowering them. They are trying to be "unnoticable" but it's true. My friend lols everyday at the thought of Jagex not thinking this. Remember when a cracker was 900M? Jagex "unnoticabley" chopped off 300M from it. The now 600M cracker continues to be lowered about 250K a day until it is almost worthless. This goes for partyhats also.

 

because their useless, would you rather have a AGS+Full Bandos which you can use for many things or a peice of shit that sits on your head and does nothing?

 

It is because Jagex controls the market prices now. Just hold them till they are very hard to get then sell via BH or something.

it depends, no1 is buying then and the price is dropping so people sell for min to try and get rid of them so people buy for min then do they same thing over and over agian i tihnk its funny how you guys think jagex manipulates prices that much. They will only change it if there was a glitch or like if they know dclaws were going to go up so much they would have started it at 10mil. Phats are also pointelss due to lending

 

Some very cynical thoughts here. Put it simply, firstly no one is buying them at the moment and a lot of people don't have that sort of cash anymore.

 

Still, why isn't the Blue partyhat lowering when all the others are?

Because they weren't worth the price they were at, so Jagex is slowly lowering them until they're buyable.

 

I will buy a purple when it hits 50m. Why? Because they will go up in the end. Maybe not soon, but at some point, they will. And it is a part of Runescape history that I have always wanted to have. So, it's more personal than money-wise. That is one of the first things that you think of when you think "rich" in Runescape. (at least I do)

 

I have no idea, Jagex just feels like being more of a failure.

Which doesn't make any sense really, since there should be a high demand for phats, since they are discontinued. Maybe Jagex are making it go down?

 

Party hats were worth alot a long time ago because the rich ppl had nothing to spend their money on (no godswords, god armors other fancy equipment) but now the economy is different. More ppl rather have godswords to use at cw then to wear a hat when their cutting a tree.

Jagex is lowering them. They will eventually go up again.

Since there are much more stuff thats worth it other than phats like AGS, bandos, etc. So it drops. Nonetheless, its still rare.

 

I do belive it will go up when the game gets back to normal and people make cash.

 

I'm personally surprised at how cheap santa hats have become...The other day I saw the price at the GE, it was 12-13m :I

 

Thats unnecesary for jagex... Party hats are worth it... Except purple and green...

green / purple should be like 20m but thats lowest
