Is Unvouching/Not Recommending a thing here?

I know people can get vouches and such for sales and professionalism on this site is there as oppose to opening disputes etc a way to I guess "Refute" someone here?

 

You can definitely leave negative feedback if that's what your asking, as long as it isn't false you should be fine.

 

If it's just bad customer service ect just don't vouch at all, as normaly they report it and it gets removed anyway...
If it's a scam then your best bet is just to report them.. (If you report them and your report is denied and you go to leave them bad feedback then it'll most likely be removed aswel).

 

You can’t tell others not to use someone, however you can share your experiences with someone in the market thread relevant to the trade. This can’t be their vouch thread though.

 

What others have said is correct. The only place users can currently leave bad feedback is on a user's market thread with appropriate proof. 95% of the time they post in the wrong place or have no proof so the posts get removed.

If you have a good idea for how to implement this without using a + / - rep system you should totally post in Suggestions. I'll think about it a little bit too because I'd like there to be some way for these experiences to come to light.

Maybe anyone with a vouch thread could automatically have an anti-vouch thread created in a new forum and automatically linked to their profile under the "vouch thread" line. Users with bad experiences can post there - with proof - and we can try to collect information that way. Hmmmm...
