    Dumbest update I've seen on this forum thus far. Cannot browse Sythe without an adblocker on unless I want a red banner across the screen the whole time. This will honestly just make me browse the forum less and less.

    Hello @Myshirtisoff,

    That notification is there because adblock has been aggressively blocking all images across the forum, including ones posted by users in their own threads and signatures. This results in the site appearing to be broken without much of an explanation.

    Whitelisting the site on your adblocker is the only way to circumvent this, and shouldn't cause trouble as this site does not use any intrusive or malicious advertisements.

    As Andy stated the adblocker was essentially "breaking" the site for anyone using an adblocker.

    The only "ads" are the top 2 and bottom 2 banners these are ALOT less intrusive and annoying than a red banner across the bottom of your screen.


    Just whitelist the site

    Idk if you've ever seen the banners but they are not going to affect your sythe experience.

    If the developers of Sythe aren't capable of fixing the issues then so be it. I don't care if my adblocker is breaking the website. Leave a small notice at the top of my screen, and I will decided what I want to do with the situation. This big banner makes the forum harder to use and some functions are blocked because of the banner being in the way. So we are being almost forced into disabling it. If that's the case, I just won't frequent the forum.

    How are we supposed to fix you using an adblocker which blocks images indiscriminately on the site? That's like asking a car maker to fix drunk drivers.

    For reference the current rule in easy-list that your adblocker uses blocks any image url longer than 20 characters whether it is an ad, an avatar, a signature, a sales thread, or an image of a bunny being chased by a cat
