Why Hitler wasn't a Nazi

If you ask any high school teacher, adult, student, child, or possibly even some professors - they would, most likely, agree that Hitler was a Nazi.

However, they are completely wrong.

Hitler was a fascist. He believe in big business, capitalism, and imperialism. These views are apparent in his actions, speeches, etc..

The term Nazi is actually a Marxist term. Marxism is a form of government, very similar to communism. It believes that social groups are the best and only way a government can succeed. Nazism is short for 'National Socialism.'

Socialism, which is also a form of government, says that high taxes lead to distribution of wealth. This lessens social classes, creating a HUGE middle class, barely any lower class, and fewer elites.

As you can see, Hitler was not a Nazi; he was actually the complete polar opposite.

no.. Hitler is considered a nazi since he was the leader of the NSDAP or Nationalsozialismus

this party was later talked of as the Nazi party.

Socialism is state ownership of the means of production. Germany's government, from 1933-1945, owned the means of production (also it was a welfare state). Coupled with its high levels of nationalism, it was a Nazi state.

 

Nazism is strongly associated with the policy and practices of the NSDAP under Hitler, so whatever way you spin it, it's still accurate to call Hitler a Nazi.

 

Also, the difference between fascism and nazism are two things. Lebensraum and the race ideology. Hitler believed that Nazi-Germany deserved all the room needed to live and expand the German empire and he believed that some races were inferior to others.

an all around valid answer here would be that Hitler was everything..

he was just a very very sick man..

So.. most teachers and professors in the world say that Hiter was indeed a nazi. But, one person on sythe says he's not.

 

He was not a Nazi, but in some sick way dont flame me for this but he was trying to make the world good, and peace, no racism no fighting everyone was supposed to be blonde hair blue eye's if he would of some how succeeded in the future the world would of been a better place but he was trying to achieve that place by doing wrong doings, killing jews, blacks, etc etc.

 

He was just enforcing eugenics when he killed people. The same ideology that was used in the US...

 

You have a very good point - that's just like saying that Communists aren't Communists, they're fascists.

This is true in a way, because every large-scale attempt at socialism has always turned into fascism.

Yet Hitler WAS a member of the Nazi party, even if he did not preach "textbook" Nazi ideals.

Therefore, you should really be saying that while he was technically a Nazi, he was by practice a fascist.
