[Approved]Art section on discord

This may be a silly suggestion but I was wondering if there was a possibility of a graphics section in the sythe discord ?

Just a centralised location where guys can post their art and also people can go and take a look and offer feedback similar to the one we have on the sythe website itself.

Edit: I’m not sure if this would compromise people trying to sell art such as sig blocks for example And open the door for people just to pinch them ? I’m not sure , thoughts ?

 

I believe something of this sort already exists under the graphics section of the forums

Don't see why we shouldn't have this - can just remove it if it becomes inactive. Support.

 

it used to exist but was inactive, so it was removed. i don't think it would be any different now

 

It may have been removed in the past, but it could be different now, I'm in support because of the potential for new activity. Even if it is a litttleee inactive I think it's good to have it or at least try it out again.

I'm one of the newer graphic designers too and know there's been new people joining with an interest in it, it wasn't around even when I first joined so why not lol

 

Bunch of artistic people on sythe don't see why this would flop.

I feel like there are more artists on Sythe lately (or I am just paying attention more). I think an area for these creatives is warranted. Like @Superfluous said, if it isnt active, you can always remove it but I think not adding a section/channel for them is a mistake.

I doubt this will be active. Seeing as it was previously removed due to inactivity I see no reason to support this.

 

I like the idea, we have other types of forum based stuff on there and although there is a GFX channel I think? This could be an alternative just to show off your stuff.

Keeping in mind, IF SO do not allow it to be flooded for market gain.

 

Support, I think if anyone wanted to advertise on discord right now it would be in the Misc section, but that is flooded with a bunch of RS related stuff, 1 channel doesn't hurt anything add it!

 

I support, it's not like you lose anything from adding it. better to have more than not enough right?
