uzzarewto scammed me.

Explanation of the trade: I bought an account from his website (http://uzzastore.tk/) on July 23, 2019. The reason I purchased this account from him is due to the fact that he offers lifetime warranty, claims his accounts are hand-leveled, and the pricing was competitive.

I've had access to this account for almost a year. Everything was great. On March 23, 2020, I received a password change request email. I didn't think anything of it because I wasn't thinking it was anything malicious or anything of that nature, so I sort of brushed it off. Next thing you know, I log into my other League of Legends account and noticed that I was removed from my own friends list, removed from all the clubs, and the name was changed (tried finding it on op.gg, will get back to that subject later.)...

So I contacted uzzarewto via support email and Discord. I supplied him the information he requested (login name, order id, etc.). He then supplied me with recovery information so that I can try and recover the account. I submitted the recovery on March 27, 2020. I received a response from Riot Games on March 29, 2020. They said they are having trouble looking into the account with the information I provided and asked me to go over the questions so they can investigate further.

So, I contacted uzza and told them of their response. I asked him if he's the original owner of the account or if it was purchased from someone, because he states that all of his accounts are hand-leveled. He told me he bought the account. So then I asked him if he's in touch with the original owner and he said he provided all of the information he had and said there is nothing else he can do to help. I asked him what we can do as far as the warranty goes and he said nothing, the account isn't warranted (Even though his thread and website claims lifetime warranty on accounts). He said it's not warranted because I changed the login name and that I claim I received several password reset requests "but this is not possible since you only knew the login. The original owner did not. Because he could not know the new login."

He told me he does not retain the original owners contacts, so he can't get in touch with them.

After all of this, he told me he will try to request a recovery, saying maybe he will be more fortunate.

It's been over 3 weeks and I haven't received a response from Uzza. So today, I decided to do a little research.

Firstly, I checked OP.gg and typed in the display name that I used on the account. It ended up showing the display name that it was changed to.

If you look at the match history, you can see my old display name "Féd"
If you do a simple google search with the new display name "Xyreddf", you'll come across a steam profile named "NobodyXV". That was the original login name of the account.

I decided to add the persons steam so I can get some insight of what happened. I will provide screenshots of our conversation under "Other relevant trade screenshots".

@uzzarewto needs to help you get your account back or refund you for it if he cannot. He'll remain DNT'd until he can make this right.

You should also ask @uzzarewto to send you the account creation details he has for this account. I suspect he's selling stolen/cracked accounts and cannot provide any sort of information like this for any of his accounts.

 

That's the thing, he provided me with recovery details via Discord (can be seen in screenshots) but riot games responded by saying:

"Hey there! Sorry to hear about that.（>﹏<） I seem to have trouble looking into the account you need help using the info you provided. :/ Could you go over the following questions again so I can investigate further? I would just note that your best guess is better than a blank answer. Oh, and you may not see your replies here in the ticket! We want to hide your personal information to keep it secret, keep it safe. I can still see it though, I promise :3 Login name: In game name: Region you play on (NA, OCE, EUW, etc.): All possible emails you used to create the account (take a couple of guesses!): Do you still have access to this email? Your current email address: Creation date of the account and/or newest champ/skin when you started playing? Location where the account was created? So, the recovery details provided did not work.
