    Firefox "locks up"

Well I don't know how to exactly explain this let me try to do my best.

While using firefox, often when changing windows firefox locks up. Not really freezing, but I can't click on anything anywhere on my screen. The mouse has not sensitivity over links, applications, or even the start bar. I can often correct this by hitting alt+tab a few times and i can browse regularly, but after navigating to 2 or 3 pages I get the same error. This only happens in firefox, but persists when it is closed. If I alt+tab to another window, often I can't interact with that window. For example, if I open task manager, and try clicking on the window it loses focus, but yet it remains ontop. This is true for any application, whether it is top-most or not.

This use to happen to me, but it only did when I would quick click. I would click one tap, then switch to something else really quick, and it locks up.

Do you have numerous programs opened up while doing so? Limewire or another music program, or a game of some sort?

Sounds to me like you have too many processes running. Try cleaning your registry/temp files, uninstall any useless shit you aren't using and make sure your Firefox is updated to the newest version.

If that doesn't work, just try only having firefox opened, and no other programs and see if it still does it.
