User below ordered 99 range 94 mage on an account he had just purchased from Zora

Agreement $85 PP 125m gp and I was to use the 125m gp for gear + he put 75m on the account for the supplies on the service id sell gear and get my 125m back + w.e else used out of the 125m id be reimbursed.

I was to do this personally so no one else had access besides me, the client, and whoever else had the PW if he didn't change the PW after purchase? < Not sure if he did or didn't.

The dude already paid $85 via PP and didn't seem like the type to claim a scam or anything but I'm making this because I'm going to be at a dentist all day today so figured better get it ready 0.0

None of my other accounts are affected that are on my side so I know its probably something simple as he didn't change PW after purchase or he himself took the gold off the acc, but legit whoever cleaned it broke the tent whip and sold the ranging potions XD.


I'm almost 100% sure he didn't change the PW and Zora / the client will need to sort this out.

I can confirm there was 200m value on the account when I received the details.

EDIT: Can confirm the $85 is still in my PP so I doubt the client did this.
EDIT : Refunded the $85 will let the client repay once this is settled.

I have no idea, i left 200m on this account to train it and im just logging in now, this was purchased by @Zora yesterday.

 

my account is virus free and keylogger free, if someone was scouting it it had more yesterday when i bought it.

 

I'll let you guys figure it out when Zora gets online. I'm heading out now to the dentist <3

 

Just confirming i changed password right after i purchased this account and set my own email.

 

Just pointing out i have logged into another account whilst yellow was training this which had more wealth (mule) than this account, that account is safe and has not had any gold taken off it.

I have absolutely no idea how this has even occurred, the password isnt changed.

 

Given i am the "newcomer" between two clearly reputable users here, i want to point out i am NOT requesting any refund of the 200m OSRS from the account from either parties.

I have opened a discussion with Zora about refunding of the account as i am clearly cautious putting anymore wealth onto this account going forward.

I will let @Superfluous investigate, i have been in RS blackmarket since 2011 and i was unaware there was any possibility to hack an account without changing the password.

I have done so, no account is linked (Twitter, google, Facebook)

 

That's one of the first things I had him check once I woke up and he mentioned it wasn't linked to anything.

However is it possible someone linked it to the account then used the social media to log in then unlink it?

EDIT: Zora confirmed he checked this prior to selling as well.

We're ruling this as no one's fault because everyone involved lost out, and I'm 90% sure this is the result of that active exploit. @lgnoranttt has been refunded $85 by YH and will eat the 75m loss. YH will eat the 125m loss. @lgnoranttt PLEASE secure your account and ANYONE READING THIS please make sure no one can attach their social media accounts to your RS accounts.
