Middlemen are NO LONGER liable for rwt bans

If you are using a middleman for an rsgp trade and you have the middleman hold the gp, the middleman is NOT responsible for any bans period. In turn, the middleman must ask you and your buyer/seller before the trade to decide who will be responsible for an rwt ban instead. Generally speaking this will simply be the user who is trading the gp to the middleman.

Not all trades require a middleman to hold gp! When possible, please have your middleman hold the btc or other side of payment if they can. This may be slower but it's far safer and more preferable to risking a full loss from an rwt ban.

Does this mean unless otherwise stated the RWT ban falls onto the seller?

Not questioning the rule but just incase a middleman forgets to clarify, who does the burden of the ban falls on? or will this be based on more of a case to case basis?

 

They were never responsible
The rule for it was
1) Customers had to be notified about no responsibility for bans
2) the entire trade had to be recorded
It was pain for long services, however atleast now you don't have to record trades for long time
It was implemented by n4n0 many years ago
