Banned after gold purchase

Explanation of the trade: I agreed to purchase 1B gp from DovisGold for £435, I believe I was traded by his supplier without being informed of this, and I was immediately banned afterwards. I understand that bans happen regardless but I feel I was mislead as I would not have been willing to trade the supplier which was not him if I had been informed.

How they scammed: I believe DovisGold outsourced from a supplier without informing me, I traded a 122CB account at the duel arena bank which traded me 500m in platinum tokens at a time and refused to allow me to put junk items in the trade. My account was immediately perm banned after receiving the 1B. I do not believe it was him that traded me despite him not informing me that this was the case.

@Iain77 It seems pretty clear that @Dovis Gold Shop traded you himself. He confirmed the trade within seconds and asked you to remove junk from the trade himself. Unless you have proof that Dovis wasn't trading you himself then there's not much to be done here. Sorry for your loss though; bans do suck.

 

damn, I don’t have further proof but it is rare to see resellers on such high cb accounts and I found it strange that he requested my date of birth and info and then changed his mind and went ahead with the trade before I sent anything (presumably as he/the supplier was in a rush to sell the gold before the account was banned) as well as not accepting junk items. This is all of course my own speculation so I can understand your response but can I ask how you know how quickly he confirmed the trade?

 

I'm assuming your chat was fluid, i.e. it didn't take him five minutes between messages to respond to you. In any case, I think you said it yourself - this is speculation and not DGS's fault. Again, sorry for your loss.
