Food4RS refund delay

Just a heads up about Food4RS as of 2020. Always thought they had a pretty decent reputation but had never used them until today. Well what a mistake - I had $6 left to my name and was trying to get a membership as im currently up in hospital on the IV drip again.

I think you're struggling to see my point here. Im crook in hospital, barely keeping my sanity. Had $7 left to my name to purchase this gold for a bond to keep me occupied / sane. Then seconds after payments accepted im told they won't sell to me.

I think the order they've done it is very dodgy. They had my Email and RSN before the payment, why not shut me down with the excuse they gave then and there. Why did they wait until I'd paid before deciding not to sell.

Real life you walk into a store, and the owner isn't obliged to sell you anything, no big deal. But that shop owner isn't going to take your money for a item and THEN deem you not worthy of service and offer a refund days later? Store would be shut down for legal reasons within a week..?

Correct me if im wrong im just legit confused / disappointed with the result of todays attempt.. and the fact im going to be in hospital for a few more days now without jack to do really..

 

The chat logs of importance are there, if im being honest the other 3/4 of the log was me requesting to talk to another customer service person (thinking maybe the one I was dealing with was just having a bad day sorta thing) and asking them the reasoning behind this. I never got a final reply before being kicked and banned from the customer service chat (lawl) so I cannot post the whole chat anymore.

I get where they are coming from, but if the excuse is "previous fraudulent activity from that country" im 100% certain that NZ isnt the only country they would have had chargebacks from. Ie, if they are going to blacklist a whole country just based on 1 persons actions in the past, surely they've had blacklisted almost every country by now and not be offering anyone services?

 

The chat logs had to be scrolled through, i posted the important information. You wanted the other 10 screenshots of me asking to talk to someone else and getting told she is the only customer service available lol.

Also there is no name match at all - I tried to explain that. "xxx CARDHOLDER" Is what is is printed automatically on bank cards re-issued if yours has been stolen or lost in the past. Example mine was "ANZ CARDHOLDER"

I explained this with offer to send through a picture of me holding that card but just kept being told they wont deal with me and are going to ban me if i ask anymore questions..

It's fine, ill give them 48 hours, if it isn't in by then I'll be talking to Visa about fraudulent activity and chances are after investigation if it's happened multiple times (which it would have), they will be banned from using Visa on their sites again.

 

Nothing my end yet and it's approaching 48h.

EDIT: Now over 50+ hours with no contact, no refund, no nothing. This is past their time frame of 24-48 hours, I will give them until the morning when I wake to refund it.

If not I will be going ahead with a call and lodging a fraud complaint to visa against Food4RS, resulting in what Ive talked about previously - them no longer being allowed to use Visa on their site.
