Suggest a minirank thread

Hey all!

Recently I and the future Mrs. provided WWF with another donation in which we usually do monthly not including weekly with the animals we sponsor (A Chimp called Caesar and a Panda called Bamboo). This lead me to an idea that was originally prompted on another Forum I use where they give users the ‘Humanitarian Badge’ for donating to a cause improving human welfare.

I am proposing we initiate a non-tradeable Mini-Rank for recognition of financial and/or physical aid to a Charity, Organisation or Trust that supports Human or Animal welfare, and/or other great causes like groups tackling ‘Climate change’ that put our help to good use. For example, me and my fiancée are regular donors and supporters of WWF; World Wildlife Fund. To receive this Mini-Rank we would simply provide a screenshot or any form of proof that we have legitimately supported our respective cause as below:

Perhaps we could implement a minimum amount donated with regards to financial aid, so that the Mini-Rank would be more self-rewarding rather than just throwing a dollar (though still positive) and receiving it, we can make it a premium level mini-rank so that it gives people more of an incentive to donate to amazing causes and show off the mini-rank. Perhaps 50$ minimum total that is not limited to a one-off donation and is acceptable with increments totalling 50$. Mini-rank design as follows:

I would also be willing to be the verifier for this, if this is something current Staff cannot facilitate for. Though it is not expected I would be chosen, just a kind gesture in hopes to push this mini-rank so we can all better ourselves!

I'm definitively in support of @Prayain suggestion for "charitable" mini-rank. Especially in light of thanksgiving and the holidays, it's important to recognize the value of giving and caring for those who need it most. I think an amount of $50 donated to a non-profit charity is reasonable and substantial enough to encourage benefit.

I like the charitable minirank idea as well since it’s always good to give back to good causes like homeless shelters or wild life foundations. One of you should suggest it here and get more community input: Suggestions
