Hello everybody and Happy New Year!

Since this is my goodbye thread, I want to make sure I start off 2020 right by taking the time to remember and look back on things that I am incredibly grateful for.

I know that this comes as a surprise to many but this is my goodbye thread for the foreseeable future. 2019 has been such a wonderful year for me and quite honestly I wouldn't trade my experience here for the world. Starting off on Sythe was rough, plagued with so many RAS threads on my workers many people were asking when I was going to scam quit. Over time though, I got acquainted with the forum and primarily remained a market user. Honestly, I want to give THE BIGGEST shoutout to my good friend @Tyler who risked so much and went above and beyond in his endeavours to help HopeAIO become as great as it was. Quite honestly, I'd like to think I gave the servicing scene a good run but also an incredibly high standard to live by. Not only while it's live but also up until its closure - to always make sure you hold yourself accountable and make sure that everybody's needs are taken care of up until the very end.

With this thread though, what does come with it will be my stepping down from CDT Leader as well as bondholding. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be in the team and to work with amazingly talented people. I will also never forget what @BlackBlasses said on my app which is something I will truly never forget. Tbh I guess it's why I've always been super responsive to all of your advice - your words really did resonate with me. Honestly though, being a part of the team has been one of the most fun things I've done on the forum. It is genuinely such a nice feeling knowing that there are other like-minded individuals (who also have their own agenda) working together and supporting each other every step of the way. Also @Andy you're an absolute gem. I loved the way we work together and how we would cover the other if they are busy with irl and whatnots. Quite honestly It's something I will be thankful for because not many people are willing to do that - but you did.

I also want to thank @video as well as @Gen tbh so much for their patience with me. It is honestly such a warming feeling knowing that if I had any concern that needed attention, they were always there for me. I remember for the longest time I was SO AFRAID of both of them because they were admins and I thought they wouldn't care too much about my wild ideas or input on things. Next thing I know? I'm in a voice call with them and a whole lot of others (Shin, Sun, Tysimpson, Pendulum, and Jason) and I was not only shocked but terrified as well lol. Honestly though, it was a huge motivation for me because it gave me that extra push to keep going for my ideas and to keep working at it. I'm honestly super happy to have had the experience I have with yall and also thankful for the fact yall have trusted me with many things throughout my tenure.

As for why I am leaving the platform for the foreseeable future, it's' because of irl matters. I am finally getting myself back into college this semester which I am so excited for and that's not all! My job is also taking up a lot of my free-time as well and I have to make sure I stay on point when it comes to that. Honestly though, which I would like to think is my biggest reason for leaving is because of my "new" relationship I am in. I met this girl 3 years ago in college and I remember thinking to myself "Wow, she is really pretty" and I introduced myself and we have been talking ever since. At the time though, I hardcore friend-zoned myself on purpose because I wasn't ready for a relationship at the time but 2 years in I found out that... she was the one. We have so many things in common and we agree on so many things it's honestly astounding. I've met plenty of girls throughout the years but with her it was totally different. I felt like a fish out of water because I was so nervous but this year in January I finally confessed how much I liked her and she responded well to it! Throughout the year we've been hanging out a bunch and we had our first real "date date" on the 23rd of December. We went to NASA and... man idk how to tell yall when I saw her amazement at the rockets on display I just thought to myself "I want to marry this girl someday". After exploring the galaxy lights some more we eventually had our first kiss and my God we were both so terrified! But honestly super happy we did it and honestly, we both can't wait to see what 2020 has in store for us.



I am also traveling to Las Vegas in a few days to spend the week there! I am so excited to finally be traveling as it is something I have always wanted to do but I was always too broke or busy to do it. I can't wait to go to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, it's one of those things on my bucket list lol All in all though, I'd like to thank everybody for what they've done for me. I've gotten quite at home on the forum (I even have a super awesome minirank display which I love to bits), and made some really really great friends. For now though, this is my goodbye until things settle down! I have a lot to do this year and honestly, I am so looking forward to every bit of it. I am greatly thankful for everything the platform has provided me with throughout 2019 and I will miss it dearly.





Tbh, I'd like to think that throughout my time here, I gave it a good and honest run. Thank you all again for being so open to me throughout my stay here and for your kindness as well.

I’ve been away from sythe up until a couple months ago, but it was immediately clear to me how much time and effort you were putting in to this site and your services. Happy to hear you’re leaving for positive reasons, hope everything goes well!
