[Video] Be careful who you buy your scripts from!

In this video, he goes over how he previously had been in touch with someone who made custom bots.

The script developer then went to tell this guy when he made someone a new script, and to basically go hunt them down.

Pretty fucked to sell someone a script, then tell people about the script you had made so it's then useless or not as useful as you intended it to be.

Opinions?

 

i was watching this today and was like dam this scripter is actually sad for doing that.

 

Scummy, any clue who the scripter was?

I'd recommend only buying from ranked scripters at major botting forums to help avoid this.
TRiBot, RSPeer, OSBot, DreamBot, Runemate, etc.

 

Yeah that's a bit of a dickhead move. +1 what YoHoJo said, buying from a ranked scripter is the way to go.

nah he keeps all the info on his "Source" hidden.

Hopefully the dude that got the script sees it, or somehow gets to him so he knows to report the guy he got the script from

 

While it is low, the scriptwriter could have also been burned by whoever purchased it... Thats what I thought when I saw the video. Doesnt really make sense to tank your own script off the bat.

 

Sell someone a private script then proceed to loot their accounts -> genius move

 

Such a shady thing to do, wonder if the bot purchaser ever saw this video

 

It wont be hard to track down the scripter, but yeah, what a dick move

That's pretty shitty. Get your own personal DEV though and you won't have to worry about it.

 

Or maybe... A video idea, says it was someone else who bought the script in reality it was him? Always a chance... But none the less, pretty scummy thing to do when selling a script.
