[DENIED][MINOR] Merge Meet the Staff & Staff Feedback

This suggestion is a minor suggestion

Looking at the Introduction/Farewell section, there is a section called "Meet The Staff":
Meet The Staff

This section is pretty much dead. The majority of these threads have not been posted on for around 6 months and some of them haven't even been posted on for 1-2 years.

This suggestion is simple, to integrate this sub-forum to this section:
Individual Staff Feedback

This forum would be renamed to something like "Individual Staff Feedback & Meet the Staff" or "Staff Feedback & Questions".

It makes no sense to have a separate section to ask staff questions when people can simply ask questions and query staff in the staff feedback section anyway.

Also to note, I don't think this merge would affect the activity in the "Staff Feedback" section as the "Staff Feedback" section is already more active than the "Meet The Staff" section.

 

I was going to propose the section to be moved here but noticed it's already there. Therefore I'm not supporting this. I don't think said subsection belongs in a feedback section, regardless of it's inactivity. If it's pretty much inactive and it's wished to be brought back alive then perhaps moving all threads to the subforum Introductions / Farewells and making them stickied could work. Otherwise, it's pretty much a waste of space full of spam so you might aswell remove the whole gang.

 

Have the thread be updated should be a better course of action? Newcomers will often visit that specific sub forum and having the thread there would perhaps familiarize them with the current team. Just my two cents for what it’s worth.

 

That section has turned into an AMA section instead of an actual introduction section. The sub-forum is no longer used for it's intended purpose as staff can simply have questions and queries asked on their feedback thread as opposed to their "AMA" thread. The whole point was not to move the thread, it was to merge the two forums together and archive the existing threads and to re-name the Feedback section so that it's a feedback & AMA section.

I would agree to have the thread updated however, how do you propose this solution? At the time of me writing this the following have not been really active:

Shin / Alex (not posted on in over 2 years)
Gen's AMA (last posted in over 1 year ago)
Hahanerd (last posted in over a year ago)
Island's AMA (last posted in around 5 months ago)
Charlotte (last posted in around 5 months ago)

Also to note, not all staff members are required to have a thread in this section. At the time of me writing this, there's 6 threads in this section and there are 14 staff members in total. If users want to familiarize themselves with the current team, there should be some kind of notice which encourages them to click the "Forum Leaders" hyperlink at the bottom of the page which shows them all the staff members.
