How they scammed: He confirmed the trade then told me I was with a clone and then sent me a video which was not even my rsn.

We were doing a trade and his account was "Wererhino84" so I traded him the first part and after that I told him to trade my other account under the name "cons363" and then instantly he trades me and the name was very similar and I didn't noticed it was an impostor which is ok BUT then he CONFIRMS the trade and then after I delivered the gold said "he canceled the trade" HOW CONVIENT DON'T YOU THINK?



Another thing that you should notice is:

1) He never told about any impostor there so he might be the impostor

2) He "traded me "cons363" in less than 1 minute so everything was instant, Being so old in this market how he couldn't notice that he wasn't trading "cons363" and also confirming my trade with the same exact amount, again HOW CONVINIENT

3) When I told him I had evidence about the scam then he procceds to send me the WORST video ever with the worst Quality, again HOW CONVINIENT edu - Streamable

 

4) He was literally playing dumb saying ramdom amounts in chat so he could deflect responsability after scamming me, as I said everything was instant (Look at the time on my pc and discord) so why I don't have A SINGLE TRADE REQUEST from the real account? Only from the imposter: Imgur

Why he never said something like you are busy? or most important something like watchout you are trading an imposter! like any normal seller would do.

5) Look how suspicious the video is, like prerecorded or acted because I don't see the discord chat and even after "I canceled the trade" he moves the mouse to point out that the trade was canceled (Why would someone do that if you record all of your trades all day) and then just moving the mouse for no reason whatsoever so (In what moment he was supposedly replying to me in discord? or he was just outsourcing the trade? and if he was outsourcing the trade how he was going to comunicate with me? that video is just bullshit)

7) He took 42 Minutes to send me the video, enough time to fabricate anything:

PD: I have been talking some other sellers and they told that he does the same all the time, one would think that after being so old in this forum and "15 Years in the business" he would be a pro trader like @Searchy or @Laziz but he only
plays dumb when he thinks that he can scam people and get away with it so I think that he has done enough and he shouldn't be here anymore after so many scandals.

 

This type of imposter scam happens on occasion, it's your responsibility to make sure you are trading the correct name.

Won does a lot of business so they do get impostered very regularly ingame. However they exhibited several poor trading practices here and have received a twc:

Failure to inform you of imposters
Confirmed trading you ingame (it was not you they were trading, they failed to check the rsn)

The twc can be disputed in 30 days or if Won would like, they can repay the 100.9m you lost to the scammer and have the twc removed immediately. I'll leave this open for @Won_gold o_0 to decide what they'd like to do

 

@video so after all the many times he has done this you won't agree with me that everything here is so suspicious? Do I have to donate 500$ here to be taken seriously? Or do I have to tell the people that were also "impostor scammed" to make another report? why he doesn't have to pay me anything when HE CONFIRMED the trade? which is the only thing that can save people from being impostor scammed, how is that fair that he didn't give me a propper confirmation and I lost money and he doesn't have to pay me anything? Don't you think that he could be doing this as a new a innovated way of scamming people because let's be honest 10b a day is nothing compared to the many times that this happens with him (If you ask other sellers they will tell you that they don't get cloned that often and they buy even more), I buy gold everyday of the week in very small amounts 5-50m from several people up to reach 2b and I don't get cloned this often, I'm aware that you don't trade very often but @Gladiator could confirm that something could be going on.

 

If you let him to not take any responsability about this he will get away with this scam (I don't belive that someone that is SO experienced in the market will be this dumb)

 

Perhaps I was unclear. They have been punished (given a trade with caution rank) because of their failures when trading you, which I listed above. They will have to pay you the gold back in order to have their trade with caution removed. Does this clear things up?
