Is this gaming computer worth buying

Hello so I finally found a gaming PC I wanting to purchase and would like to know if it is worth it.

Seems decent for 500$, I built pretty much the same setup not including gtx card and it costed the uni 700$, The 2400G is integrated graphics but uses vega 11. You will want to eventually upgrade the CPU/Graphic card within the next year or so otherwise your going to be lost in the gaming world.

 

16gb ddr4 seems overkill for gtx 970

500w bronze psu on sale - $40-50
open box mono on amazon warehouse - $50
case on sale - $40-50 depending on what u want. $25 if u don't care about the way it looks.
8gb ddr4 ram - $40-45
500gb SSD - $50-60
4gb rx 570 - $120 / 8gb rx 580 $160

Total all brand new $400-500 with better parts. Take 5% off if using amazon credit card. You can probs get it down to $300 using a 3200g and no gpu, but the graphics will leave a bit to be desired. (check out benchmarks on YouTube)

 

This is 2020 get 16gb of RAM and a stronger PSU. Some stuff can be bought used on ebay to save even more.

 

Why do you need a stronger psu than you need for the build because it’s 2020 lol. Or 16gb ram for 1080p gaming. Is that just like a random opinion you have or

 

I know computers are something a lot of people take pride having knowledge about. No it's not a random opinion - there are games that 8gb minimum.. 8gb of ram is crap and you should have more in this day and age. 500w psu is very weak. Consider the 4 or 5 fans you're going to hopefully be able to plug into your MB, all your peripherals, and not just your GPU and CPU but maybe multiple storage drives you may have plugged in (perhaps you add your old one so you can access all your files on one machine), maybe you have an optical drive, etc. 500w psu is very weak

 

I mean according to your average psu wattage-needs calculator online, my presumably weaker build of an i5-7400 with a 1050ti needs a 600w PSU and I have a 550. 16gigs of ram, 1 hdd, 1 ssd, gaming peripherals.

What are you going on about bro I put my build list into a calculator being very generous about the components and it came out to less than 350w. Nice thing about ram is that you can always put in more if you need it.

 

Yeah its good. You can play most games stable with that setup easily
