Explanation of the trade: Sold him 14m 07 via paypal for instant payment instead he sent it as a e-check which was on Tuesday and still not received the payment... i didn't agree on this because normally cash is in my bank instantly but i said id wait the 3 - 5 days but its still pending and i still haven't received it so i told him if he could just get it refunded\chargeback and just give me my GP back i would rather do that because i did not agree to wait this long at all and seems abit fishy how the payment was even sent that way ive never had some one do that before.

"What is a PayPal eCheck refund? After paying by eCheck you can request a refund from the person to whom you sent the PayPal funds. ... If the seller agrees to give you a refund, the funds from your eCheck will automatically appear in your PayPal account after the person you sent the funds to initiates the refund." << This is what paypal says about e-checks but this "Kips" is telling me he cant do nothing which i already know he can easy ring them and them to refund\cancel it because i have already been told by paypal... he\she is taking this as a joke and thinks it acceptable to make me wait 9 days for a payment which i was expecting it the same day he told me to carry on and make this report on him so i have done so because he is not trying to ring paypal and get it sorted. not to mention having another email saying it could be 9 - 21 days.

Why didn't you make him aware that you'd be sending an e-cheque payment?

@Gladiator, it was literally my only viable option at the time for my cards wouldn't work. I was not aware of the delays when it comes to echeck payments for I am a new seller and still getting the hang of things.



On the other hand, I informed him that it would be sent in 3 days (Sept. 6) considering that's what literally is Paypal telling me, and he seemed okay with it. 6.59 USD was deducted to my account, charging me money after I sent it to the PP email he provided.




He told me about after two days that HE got an email stating that it would take 10-21 days before it clears in his end. I asked him multiple times for a screenshot but he never provided me one. He later admitted that he was actually using his dad's PP. And couldn't get on the email because it's his dad's.


So basically I had no idea what he wanted me to do, I contacted Paypal, looked for a refund/cancel option, but the best answer I got for all that was to wait 7 business days.

I came up with a solution and told him that I will be giving him his gold back, if he promises to send me an email using his dad's PP email address.




Until now, I'm still awaiting for the email so I could give him his gold back.

 

@Gladiator I just called Paypal and once again was told that it takes 5-7 business days before it clears on his end.

When you go to make a paypal payment through your bank (an echeque payment), you are notified before you hit confirm that the payment will be delayed by 5-7 days. You could have communicated this with the seller before you sent him it, not told him so after you sent the payment already like so:



This report will remain open until he's received the money

I don't know how long it's gonna take, Paypal said it would take til Sept. 6 (it was Sept. 3) when I sent it. It was literally 3 days during that time. I wouldn't have sent it if I knew it would take longer... Now, upon reaching out to Paypal via email, social media, and phone call, they said it should take 5-7 business days.

I'm afraid I've tried looking for ways to cancel/issue refund on PP, since we agreed to just refunding, but there's literally no option to do so.

Would it help speed up closing this report, if I refunded his gold now, and just basically trust him that he would refund me once it clears on his end??

 

Gold was refunded by @IL2F, you can either cancel the paypal payment by contacting paypal or request it back from @Damnnnnn if you choose not to cancel it.

@IL2F in future you need to notify customers of the delays before you send the payment. Despite knowing the payment will be delayed by 3 days you didn't inform the customer at all until you had already sent it. I'm choosing not to TWC here as you were quick to refund the payment, please do not let this happen again.
