    Pros:

    Gives sythe gold a purpose/worth.

    Makes people more active.

    Extra donation methods and no waiting times compared to waiting around for people to process your donations.

    Makes sythe gold market more competitive.

    It could boost donations due to easier access for newcomers

    Another idea:

    Make original mini ranks you are able to purchase with sythe gold.

    I think he’s saying giving sythe gold when donating gives people more incentive to donate.

    This could backfire though:
    - user donates 200$ paypal
    - user receives 20$ worth in sythe gold
    - user sells sythe gold
    - user charges back 200$ payment

    Well if this was implemented, they (staff) could sell sythe gold for money. Also currently the only way to get it is by donating, so it would still give them money. But if implemented, i would remove trade between players.
    User charges back and get a perma ban. And people already do this and get nothing for it so tbh that comment is invalid.

    Overall I would support seeing sytle gold get some sort of value. You could use it to mabye help you out towards next donor rank or purchasing common mini ranks.

    Example: You have 200 gold. Make every 100 gold be worth like 5-10$. Use the 200 gold to make you need 10-20$ less for your next rank.

    While I agree with @Decimate on this one, I personally would like to see Sythe Gold have more of a use. A suggestion based on that would be better, but donations is silly, it doesn't support keeping the forum up.

    The issue here isn't chargebacking donations, it's putting a value on Sythe gold in the first place. There is no value assigned to many things on Sythe for a reason, and I don't see it changing any time soon. No support.
