[APPROVED] Disallow DNT to post on profile feeds

Herro everyone, it me again.

I think it's about time we fight against these most likely scum bags, at least for the most part.

They don't reply to their stuff generally, so why should they have access to our profile feeds.

Don't worry, Daddy Buffed isn't going to let this asshole scam everyone else, we gonna disapprove him posting anything anywhere and hope that slice of bread he stole is enough to feed a family.



On a serious note though, people like him should either have their posts upon approval or not allowed to post at all.

 

Support, scammers should have even fewer privileges because they can take any opportunity to fuck up everyone around.

 

I just chuckled at my reply again xD, I remember seeing it last night whilst I was banned.

 

Support, DNT users should have this ability removed. I don't think adding a post approval process is necessary, just disable it.

 

Precisely this. I personally suggested this exact thing in the past (https://www.sythe.org/threads/prevent-dnts-from-being-able-to-post-on-profiles/) and the same was said.

 

I've been agreeing. If you DNT or TWC you privileges should be almost nothing. You had a chance but then you did something to lose your trust. So you should lose your rights to do certain things.

 

I don't feel like this is really a big deal, You can either delete the post yourself, Report them, Turn profile posts to online people you follow can post or simply just disable them all.

 

I also don't feel as if it's a huge deal, but I am going to offer my support as well

Neutral, it won't be a huge deal whether it gets implemented or not. If somehow more scams happen like the one @Jason referred to then maybe. Though I'd like to ask how blind do you have to be to trade a DNT

By all means yes we can “delete them” but should we really have to? That’s the point.

 

No support, as there is less encouragement for users who have scammed to return and pay their debts off, I understand fully why you would request this. Maybe a work around would be having a option for users to disallow DNT/TWC members to post on your profile feed like a setting?

 

Profile posts are not market related (usually) and the purpose of DNT is to allow the user to integrate with with community. This suggestion goes against the purpose of being DNT by further restricting the user group's access to the site.

The way it is currently isn't a problem and the example you have given seems to be isolated and you can remove it yourself if you don't want it to be there

OT: No support, it can be abused yes but it hasn’t been abused alot yet *knocks wood*. Also, DNT users already can’t PM anyone and I feel like them being allowed to leave profile posts atleast gives them some way to contact staff or their scam victims.
