[DENIED] Infraction bans/buildup alternative action.

Make an option for users to donate to community scammed victims fund instead of a ban.
This is only for infraction bans/buildups/spam.

Basically instead of a ban they have the option to take a fine instead. Helps the community out and lets users conduct business on sythe safely.

Example being Dbufed who posted Inferno Service and is subsequently banned. Users will still use him, however they can now no longer get a confirmation pm as a result of his infraction ban.

Specific amount to be set by admins/mods before implementation, can discuss amounts below as well.

 

I'm also going to say no support as well, People for minor bans usually come back. I agree with what super said.

 

Support, I think we should have both options:

A fine or the short ban.

 

The suggestion isnt over people who quit, its about customer security and giving back to the community.

A banner user cant send a confirmation pm, however users will still continue to use said user when they're aware that the ban wasnt for scamming.

Implementing an optional fine to the community repayment fund instead of a ban will give back to the community. At the current point, pardons with repayment arent very high at the moment to my knowledge and this suggestion would allow more $ to the fund.

 

I don't really support the idea of having the choice of paying a fine instead of the ban. But including a fine for repeat offender's is something I could see helping people be more aware and not repeating the some offenses.

 

This would go against the spirit of our forums and we would prefer that a punishment cannot simply evaded by paying it off. I will ask our staff team to post on their profile to warn that this is a temporary ban.
