remove autobumping as whole

people abusing this system, by farming post count, farming for views. Not actually buying/selling just farming views.

would rather get input from mods like @video who have a brain

people just abuse this system, by removing auto bumping /making it bannable people will still find ways to get around this system but it is going to be 10x harder to do, and will discourage anyone to do so/risk there profile for a bump.

The way I see autobumping is just like viewbotting threads, people who say otherwise are the ones abusing this system.

I can name drop 5+ known users of this site who auto bump with doing 1 sale a month, or 1 sale every 2-3months. Auto bumping for the sole reason of views/growing a profile - getting in the way of active traders

If they are autobumping threads and refusing to do business when contacted, it would fall under false advertisement. If they're actually only getting 1 sale a month, they may want to pursue other business ventures.

If a thread is bumped the user must be actively trading no? So Autobumping should only be used if its a business with workers who can handle users requests/needs at the time.??

views does help, @Superfluous took me and others ages to build a profile, took me 2 years to build a proper profile on this site. Views effect sales heavily

This does happen though, and that thread of removing bumping after getting a sale to be on top of a thread is rly stupid. Because it now means pointless people who act like they buy/sell will post there posts making the real ones at the very bottom/ not last on top for long.
And the whole point was to incentive people to give a vouch, In order to be on top. Allowing active traders to deserve there position, I don't see how it is negative.

I understand you are frustrated with individuals who don't do sales but still autobump their threads however, I think it would be unfair to remove autobumping from people who are in fact using it to promote their business (for example specific gold sites) who run a 24/7 service. You want these people to do less business just because of certain individuals who bump their threads but are not trading? I'm not sure how that is fair on them considering the fact that now bumps are every 4 hours, someone could have a website which has 24/7 customer service, not be on to bump their threads and then lose sales because of it.

Additionally, another argument to your point of removing autobumping as a whole is what about non-sale related threads i.e. Middleman Section? You want to remove the fact for individuals to autobump their middleman threads? I think that is kind of ridiculous considering the Middleman forums are full of people who actively middleman and you want to ruin that for middlemen too? I think that is extremely unjustified.

If you want to argue with @Sh33dy talking about how you have pictures on that thread, how comes you aren't presenting proof you actually own partyhats?

I'm not seeing any proof you own any partyhats on this thread (despite claiming you're always stocked). That thread has been up since August 11th and I can see no partyhats bought/sold on the thread either.
