[Food] McDonald's - Entire New International Menu Review

McDonald's in the US just got 4 new menu items. They also had a fantastic promotion on release day where they were extremely cheap. Let's find out if they're any good!

Price paid: 10 pence+ 12 pesos + 1 peso that I lost...we won't count that. USD value: $0.74. Value to me: $0

Needless to say, even though I ate only half of the chicken sandwich / McFlurry... I am REALLY full right now.




Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger - I had high hopes for this one going on. 2 slices of smoked gouda, McBacon sauce, bacon, hold the onions. My burger wasn't exactly hot, and the cheese wasn't exactly melted. The burger slid around like crazy so I ate it quickly and kind of didn't pay attention to the burger, but I know one thing: I did not like what I was eating. I want to say it was the McBacon sauce, because I do like gouda, but honestly not sure. Bad review, sue me. 2/5 would not get it.

I think the problem was too much tomato in the McBacon sauce.



Stroopwafel McFlurry - Well, it is a McFlurry made with caramel sauce and stroopwafel, which is some sort of waffle-cookie. The cookies were both hard and chewy at the same time, if that makes any sense. I turned my review senses on for this one, and would describe the taste as cinnamon compressed waffle with caramel soss. 4/5, nothing wrong with it, but didn't blow my mind.

Fun fact: Both of the items above used ingredients invented in the Netherlands. Je weet, Gouda, Netherlands famous for their gouda cheese, and stroopwafel.




Tomato Mozzarella Chicken Sandwich - Crispy or grilled chicken, tomato herb sauce, mozzarella cheese, an' da fixin's. I loved this. I normally don't go for tomatoey items, but this one surprised me. The new sauce could be described as tomato-garlic sauce, as those are the major players I tasted while eating it. It was a STRONG tomato flavor, and a STRONG garlic flavor, and boy did it work. High 4/5, I'd try this again easily.



Cheesy Bacon Fries - These are bacon-cheese fries. They're good. They're salty. They're better than baconator fries. High 5/5.

A lot of people didn't really like the fries, but I think I like them so much because I don't really like normal McD fries anymore.

Americone Dream is my favorite Ben n Jerry's, so like.

Good to hear; a lot of people were hating on the fries when I mentioned them, but I still think they were delicious. Taste buds, ya know.

I think it was more of a texture thing for me. I was trying not to late my cinnamon-hatred bias chip in, but honestly wasn't a huge factor.

I mean we do have the McRib, but if you're ever like me and experiment and find out they're basically, if not exactly, On-Cor brand rib patties and proceed to eat 12 McRibs at home... I got sick of them lol.
