Why is the VB6 forum under Microsoft.NET?

    VB6 isn't a .NET technology.
Why not make it a top-level forum like Java?

Matthew changed the forum arrangement. I simply requested the changes. If you have issues, please ask him about it.

Anyhow, I think it would be cluttered to make it a top-level forum, so as far as I'm concerned, it's good enough here.

I totally agree with x9, it should be a top level forum. As I said before VB6 != .Net. <_<

Why is the VB6 forum under Microsoft.NET?

That's crowded as fuck. Anyway, if VB6 is kept under .NET, people will start to think that Sythe admins are dumbasses.

I'm not the right person to talk about the layouts you suggest. If you are unhappy with the current layout, please ask an admin.

With the layouts that some of you have suggested, I will note that you are missing some important languages. .Net is fast becoming high in demand.

Less crowded means more chaos for particular sections, however.

And that's not really that crowded, it's like... 5 forums, and sub forums. Which in turn would organize everything nicely :p.

And .net can be thrown in there, just all the prog forums I've been too... not one of them cares enough for .net to bother.

The change is in suggestions, up for staff review and such. Hopefully, it eventually gets changed. I think a Showcase and Requests section would be handy :p.

Why is the VB6 forum under Microsoft.NET?

That layout above is stupid. I'll just mess with the Visual Basic forum and sort it out.
