Omnipotence includes the ability to manipulate logic. An omnipotent entity wouldn't be bound by the laws of physics, laws of logic or even the boundaries of reality (as s/he would be the creator of it). Argument fails.

Edit: other common arguments like that: Can God create a triangular sphere? Can God permanently destroy himself? A triangular sphere is self-contradiction as a triangle requires corners, whereas a sphere require that there are no corners. If God can permanently destroy himself, he isn't immortal and thus not omnipotent. If he can't, he isn't all-powerful. These arguments fails too, just posted them because I have absolutely nothing better to do.

 

My view on this is this:

WHETHER, you believe in a god or not a god, in evolution or not evolution.

You have to believe in something.. Think of it, sure from a scientist's point of view, evolution certainly makes sense, and definitely could be possible. But from a Religion point of view, they think their 'God' made all of this from scratch.

Now, personally I am not releasing whether I believe in god or not. Because I believe in neither.

I believe that, Someone, somehow, Created the first atom, that then evolutionized the planet. Because really, when you think of it, how did that 1 atom start the planet out of no where, someone would've needed to split it, to multipy, and multipy, and multiply.

We have evolutionized, from the start of the world, to the Medieval days, to the present, and will continue through the future.

That is my opinion, and just my 2 cents worth.

 

It depends what you feel a god is.
Is a good a super natural being? Someone who over watches from above?
I call that an imaginary friend

Someone with a lot of political power?
Maybe that's a god.


It's a matter of belief i guess.

I think people force young kids in to Religion, I can remember that my parents use to try to do that, and yet they don't go to church. I refuse to go to a church, unless it's for a wedding/death.

But that's just my opinion, everyone has a right to believe what ever they think is true.

 

God is something made up with people in the early ages to give a simple explanation to things.

Like:
Why is that plant growing?
God has made it that way
But now we now how it grows and we can give a better explanation to it...

I dont think God exists and i dont know if the bigbang theory is right, but i do know that we will never know how it all has started!

We need to ask forgiveness for our sins. We couldn't ask for forgiveness without Jesus.

Our gift is the gift of Jesus dying on the cross. We are able to choose whether we want to go to heaven or not - if you choose to go to heaven, you'd have to live the life God wants you to, and more importantly, if you believe in him at all.

When you're a true christian, you don't have to worry much if you're going to hell. That is if you don't take it for granted - sinning deliberately.

God is not physical associated with the world. You can't ask him that question because he won't comply. Why do you think God sent Jesus down to Earth?

Yes, but we are not here to wonder why God has done this.
It's like me trying to force Atheists to believe in God. So when you see people try to scare you into belief, they shouldn't be doing that - if they are christians.

Also the Bible prophesied many things such as current events about Israel. and they came true. The bible states that noah's ark settled in mount arat. And this fact can be scientifically true for all you science junkies. If you actually really wanted to find out if God were true look at Christians. No not the fake ones that just go to church and have no relationship with Christ.

They cast out demons can you do that? They prophecy about things in the future or something deep inside you. I probably wouldn't be believe in Christianity if this guy prophesied and told me something my parents didnt even know. He said I held a burden when I was around different people. When I was around my friends I held a burden because my dad was a pastor and I wasn't a normal good pastor's kid. And when I was around church people I had to be the perfect guy. A person I never knew told this about me

I cannot 100% prove that God is real, but there are many prophecies in the Bible about the future. Two of them (in our time period) came true and the others are yet to come. there are a lot more to come so just know the facts and watch.

global warming has been proven and i dont belive in god if he did create the earth then why did he let the dinosaurs die?if he has so much power to create a planet why wouldnt he help all the starving people and come on church is a big load of bull and priests arnt even aloud to have kids like whats wrong with having kids without kids mankind would be dead

3). No theory states that the Earth came about by accident.

If God is not bound by the rules of logic, then the theist cannot argue for his existence.

If God creates people destined to go to Hell, with no chance of redemption, just to make us feel lucky, then I do not really think he is worthy of worship.
