Being able to profit from gambling?

This is a discussion thread to talk about if you are really able to profit from gambling from CS:GO

Personally i have been a lucky person. Knowing when to stop and not having that feeling of keep on going i have made a fairly big amount of cash on the game. Not talking about exact amounts because i don't like to talk about money and this isn't a show-off thread.

So please tell me about your experience <3

Dont personally think you can have a consistent flow of profit, there is always the risk factors

 

Sadly yeah. At some point you will probably lose everything if you don't know how to control yourself

 

Was up alot on 1 point, and then lost it all, Wish i never got into the gambling world.

 

Depends on luck as well as the individual at hand. I usually play Coinflip (50/50) and have made substantial profits only to lose it all eventually because I was greedy. I'd also instantly feel regret afterward and wish I'd just sold the skins instead. But, I've seen CS Gamblers make bank consistently. I'm sure they're using some sort of strategy though.

 

I do believe you can profit gambling if you know when to stop, which unfortunatly i dont. I have gone from 10$ to 1k, to then lose it in an hour. You just need to know when to stop which is VERY hard to do when gambling because you are under the impression that you will just keep winning when infact you go and lose 10 in a row.

 

Id rather gamble on esea games then for example stake, if you are familiar with all players on every team and seen them both play certain maps multiple times you can do well, I use to bet quite alot a year or so back

 

I personally only ever do coinflips seeing as they're 50/50.
Stuff like crash and csgolounge don't appeal to me as the odds of winning are way more complicated than a regular 50/50 coinflip

 

its impossible to profit overtime on something where the odds are against you. (aka all gambling sites)

 

You're never going to profit the long term in gambling. Even if the odds are 50/50 you could get a 20 lose streak and lose everything.

 

People too often think they are invincible with the martingale betting system

 

I've won over 7k USD on CSGOReaper, it was pretty insane, had crazy luck, I went from 20 CSGO case keys to 2k Inventory in 1 night.

Maybe if you bet on teams, although the spreads suck im sure it's pretty easy money if you follow the scene, but on websites those roulette and spin/jackpots odds are riggd

 

Not really, back in 2017, there was a guy called Hulk with winnings over 200k on csgoreaper and most of coinflip websites just take a small cut of the bet 5-10% if it's above 500$.

When csgo magic was a thing I went from 8-0 from 10-110 from 2-60. Could have made a lot more having I cashed out when I was up but still made loads

 

you can profit from gambling but it's not something anyone should do. it's rare for someone to profit, and its GAMBLING. there are so many other ways to profit gambling has to be by far the worst one

 

Gambling never lead me anywhere good, I did get very lucky once and won so much profit and after that I managed to sell 50% of it, overall experience though... lose> win

 

why is this being necro'd

 

Cs go gambling is sth different, never made a big profit...
