    Hi,

I sometimes troll but I still make valid points this time I will try phrase my argument in a way we can hopefully agree. I have seen many report a scammer threads where they has not been consistency. Most terms and services state they are not responsible for bans which I understand for safety. However with so many amazing clients out there such as osbuddy/runelite which take screenshots for each quests and levels automatically I think the service provider has to provide screenshots of the service/quest being done to not take responsibility of the ban. I raised this point earlier as well to make sure Bolt Bolt got punished for botting on an account but nothing happened. Can you please listen to this suggestion as you not listening to past suggestions has cost a lot of people money already. If they can not provide screenshots they are obliged to provide a refund.

I believe It's the default to have pictures automatically via the client, some services also offer additional screenshot every few hours. If the ban occurs and you feel the service provider has not been reasonable you can ask for advice from the staff members or experienced members like @Devil

I mean I can find conflicting cases so I think its needs to be made clear. Umy/Bolt botting service(got me banned) He didn't provide screenshots and did it insanely quick or someone who should be really busy lol

Services like this are always going to be in some sort of a gray area.

When a user reports the service provider for botting, there is almost no way staff can completely verify either side. This is why we suggest users to provide a terms of service that protects them and warns the buyer beforehand. Can this be exploited? Absolutely. Will we intervene if there is repeating reports? Absolutely.

There is also the issue that Jagex does falsely ban accounts for botting when being trained on a new IP. This is probably caused by their autoban system and it recognizes a new location and lots of XP gained which probably triggers it.

This is similar to service provider reports where items go missing. We ask service providers to warn the user to remove all excess items off the account to try to mitigate this problem.

To address your suggestion, taking photos does not prove anything in terms of the dispute. Many bots use the native client and these clients automatically take screenshots as is. I don't have an issue adding this to the section rules, but it won't change the way we handle these disputes.

Keep in mind, most bot clients can run off runelite/Osbot so screenshots from both of these are not a reliable indicator of whether or not someone is botting

    Hi,

I appreciate the feedback. The case is sometimes that screenshots are not provided also why do we have to see repeating cases to take a stand. I think this would improve some aspects furthermore in chat log having a comment such as 67 attack about to be achieved etc.

Feel free to ask your service provider to add it to the ToS, but he's free to refuse and you are free not to use his services.

    No support.

It's not about me I have been scammed enough times to learn all the scams in the book. I just feel currently people are abusing the TOS theres many people that don't even read them which is their own fault however when they say they are not liable for bans that can be understood as yes they are not responsible for bans because the customer could have botted and it would be unfair on the service provider. I understand the safety for both parties. However when a service provider can't provide such basic evidence such as screenshots with text at the bottom saying e.g lvl 78 Attack achieved by 'name' then should they not be responsible for the ban? Even if the ban happens but they show some proof then at least there is some even if weak evidence it wasn't botted. I don't think its unreasonable to make service providers screenshot stuff with a bit of text and will help everyone all around

You can still bot on Osbuddy and Runelite with screenshots. I’ve seen it many times.

As someone who provided services for years, I've never used OSBuddy/Runelite when working with a client. I don't believe they are safe, so I'm not going to risk a customer's security over it either. Not sure about RL, but OSB also runs like hot garbage on slower PC's.

Perhaps you should spend some more time researching who people are and what their backgrounds are before trading. If they are employing workers with a small deposit, is that who you want working on your account?

If you request the provider to provide pictures before the service begins then the provider will have to but otherwise this is not a default requirement
