Disbandment of Public Relations Team

Effective immediately, the Public Relations team is no longer a part of the Sythe Development team. The team has had little success over the years through numerous leaders and members. The responsibilities that came with the PR team will now be merged with the Community Development Team. Current PR members will also have to re-apply if they wish to be a member of the CDT. There will be no merge of members.

Good riddance! The leaders of that team mocked a Sythe member committing suicide, no idea how it even came to be anyway!

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to inherit a team, try to make things work, within the time span that I was given. I think our event was a hit, and I hope that CDT will reach out and ask any questions, as we have a few cool events we were about to push out, we were just waiting on the conclusion of PR standing.

The PR team could've been improved upon but this is probably for the best.

Every good thing comes to an end. PR had its ups and downs that's for sure but towards the last year or so, we could clearly see that it was a sinking boat. Nonetheless, we have to tip our hats to the members and leaders who tried their best to make things work because despite the attention/comments the PR team was receiving, they fought till the end.

 

RIP just like the UE team.
