[ACCEPTED] Banned users profile pop-up change

Now if we click on banned users nickname it shows pop-up which is literally the same as normal, in my opinion it should show that user is banned
Currently:




Most of users like in this picture have their contact info, so customers may contact them and don't even see they are banned.

Example: Somebody will see banned users old thread and without opening the thread just click on nickname and directly contact them.

At least nickname should show *BANNED" as it is on full profile page or something like that should be included

 

absolutely support, newcomers could get confused by this!

 

Yup this should be implemented, there could be confusion for those not familiar with how things work. This suggestion would aid in preventing a few scams I hope.

I've also wondered why this wasn't a thing, as this should've been implemented years ago.

Support, does the ban function link to report(s) aswell? Kind of the the DNT? Really haven't attempted.

 

It doesn't but you can use this thread to find out reason(s) why account is banned

I support. Im sure generally, as a consumer, if you get the popout its from clicking their username from their own post/thread, where you would see the banned rank, but this will help keep users aware who click on their tagged name in other posts

Can maybe also include DNT for the same reasons as OP

Support. This has always annoyed me when you click on tags. Like if there's a post with @Bolt on it, he didn't actually post so you don't see the ban, and you click the tag and it just brings up the profile looking normal.

No support unless this is expanded. Shouldnt the same be said for DNT'd users? As per @Sythe rules: Anyone caught trading with a DNT will be imposed a 1 week ban for first offences, longer terms for second offences etc.

DNT'd users should not be allowed to trade either and in the large proportion of DNT'D users, most are users who:

1) scammers whose ban term expired but refused to pay back
2) sketchy circumstances with ongoing RAS reports on em

Apply the same logic to em and it'd be risky to let DNT'd users continue to advertise their discord/skype on their profile, no? We're fooling newcomers into trading DNT'D users too.

I say expand this to banned AND DNT'D users. Only those who have cleared their DNT ranks should be allowed to trade and rightfully so.

 

I've been confused by this for a second a few times before, "Oh I thought they were banned, wonder how they got undbanned, oh they aren't, ok..."
