Is it actually bad luck or good luck?

I started lovely 2019 with two crashes
In one my beloved nearly fully customised BMW e46 got destroyed by an idiot who didn't stop on red light, I tanked the hit better than obby tank

It was barely two months ago, I bought some temporary car while I'll be looking for new BMW (it's a big challenge considering a lot of cars in poland are after serious accidents or in terrible conditions)
And today some 75 years old guy who has diabetes and didnt take his medicines loses his mind and drives right into rear of my car at speed of 90 kilometers/hour (he had definitely somewhere between 130-150 on the clock, he couldn't damage the rear that hard with small speed difference driving in same direction)
I ended up spinning on road + hitting few signs and landing up in ditch then getting "jumped out" to finish my stunts on the roof, the only injury I have is not too bad headache

So is it actually unluck to have two crashes in ~2months inbetween (both causing total damage of cars) or is it actually luck of getting out of these without a scratch?

 

It's pretty lucky to get out of these kinds accidents without a scratch. Try playing lottery next.

Did insurance cover both accidents?

 

BMW case will most likely find it's solution in court cause insurance company undervalued car by nearly half
Opel was shit worth I don't think they'll undervalue this car, even if they do then I'll lose $200-$300 max asumming I'll be too lazy to fight with insurance company, it was like $1100 car so not much to undervalue here lol, I bought it for 3-4 months max

The opel crash i would consider u being lucky.
My Mustang got hit in January 2019.
The shittiest part is waiting for insurrance money and the fact u always have to fight their decision.
If it was up to a crash estimator in Belgium i would have gotten like 1.50€ back.

It's the whole of Europe, i think. My accident was in the beginning of January and i received my money literally 3 days ago (this monday). So it takes a while till u recieve anything.

Definitely super lucky ur ok. Both look bad but the second especially imo...

 

Moral of the story, the farmer with the son is ginger and has no soul and thus no spirit?

Lucky for you, not so lucky for the cars.

Last year, my audi a4 universal 1998 got hit in the back by a truck doing a poorly calculated turn. After evaluation, had to fight with insurance, but in the end I received about 400 EU and fixed the back myself for about 70 EU. Was worth it. Don't give up.

 

Thank "God" you're ok Zuzel. Seriously this could have been so much worse. I hope you still see a doctor as your headache could be a sign of a concussion and underlying issue. Might need a CT scan to be safe.

I also hope you reem the people in court + your insurance company.
