Sorry have been busy, I am not a big fan of bitcoin cash, it just happened to be at the right place at the right time. But it's four main benefits would be.
1. low fees, empty blocks
2. Bitcoin developers favor making blocks even smaller.
3.You can spend your Bch and save your btc.
4.Bitcoin cash is widely accepted.

As for the price it is reasonable considering it has good liquidity and community, also branding. Nothing too crazy about it.

What do you think is the #1 coin out there? Which one is really undervalued?

 

Well the thing is every coin has it's perks some are number one at one thing or the other. Over all I believe the biggest number one should be value, and for that i'd give to bitcoin. It has a very successful marketing campaign globally.

I would say many coins are undervalued until they have a proven market but I don't know which in particular is currently over looked.

Hi yes there are still good crypto projects out there to get in on, just do you research.

Alright so for those who don't know what "bitcoin maximalism" is. it is basically a
vocal group of bitcoin supporters that back BTC above all other digital currencies. This faction has come to be known as the "bitcoin maximalist" group.

My thoughts is this movement impedes and holds back on innovation. There can never be one true currency to "rule them all". Imagine a world if there was "horse carriage maximalism" and people thought travel by horse carriage was the best and only way to travel. Would we have cars today? same applies to bitcoin. There was a famous quote by Henry Ford (Ford motors)

"If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

This is a reflection of Bitcoin. The crypto industry is still very new and people only know what is available to them. But there is so much more potential and progress to be made. Yes
Bitcoin is the first and it has become wildly successful but it is also slowing growth for the industry at large. People see bitcoin go down and they pull out. Bitcoin should not be a measure of success or health for the crypto market at large. We shouldn't measure our progress using other people's rulers. Similarly we cannot use bitcoin as the measure for the health and success of the crypto industry. Some investors get turned off at the sight of the over inflated news on bitcoin. Everyday the head line is "Bitcoin up 10% the industry is booming again" next day "bitcoin crashes 20% is this the end of crypto?", etc... this is pure nonsense and distracts people from the real innovations happening everyday in the industry. There are many Alt coins which have shown a 10x or 10,000x and they are much more profitable than the more mature Bitcoin which has slower movement in terms of investment returns. Also bitcoin is already antique in it's technology. It is slow and inefficient compared to the many efficient coins out in the market today.

Lastly much of the BTC holders are no longer individual everyday people. In fact today it is largely in the hands of veteran investors or Institutions who are manipulating the coin and market . We live in a world of fake news. If you don't watch the news you are uninformed but if you watch the news you are misinformed. The largest cancer of the industry is the poor quality crypto media outlets which is usually bias and unprofessional has no backbone and is not legit. The large part of the industry is run by people chasing money they don't care about anything else. So a large amount of the news you see from self professed "official" crypto media outlets, regarding crypto markets is on the basis of Bullshit. Look at the recent study.

I trust the Wall Street Journal as it only publishes news on crypto if it is worthy. This study is exactly why Bitcoin maximalism is either a paid stunt by a small group of people or the people are out of their mind.

Sounds like nonsense, just because it is possible does not mean it will happen. People are expecting it to shoot up by simply saying "I project BTC will be 100k" lol life does not work that way and neither does today's markets. It is just wishful thinking at best and naive ignorance to reality at worst.
